Ray was going for the ball. Horford's flagrant was blatant.

That's not right. I mean they should have called a flagrant foul on somebody for that foul on Horford.

Yeah, Kobe will get the award but all fans chant MVP for their star. The hate is strong with some of you.

That was some quality stat-stuffing by KG. BTW was I the only one who laughed when Boston fans started chanting MVP?

At best KG is an easy 3rd in the MVP race.

I know he's old and makes a lot of mistakes, but I'm an unabashed fan of Dick Stockton. The man has a real nostalgic feel to his telecasts.

wow mike fratello is really into taking star players out to avoid injury. i think any coach (other than dantoni) would take their stars out during a blowout but mike repeated 6 times in 2 minutes.

Maybe next year I'll go for Boston. Either way, I don't care. The Western conference will be the champions of the next 2-3 finals anyway, IMO.

Expected win by Boston, and everybody got going

Thought it'd be closer, but then again a blow-out was just as there

Very well said by Kenny and Charles about the Hawks and Celtics

The game played out as I expected it would, but regardless of what will happen the rest of series, this Atlanta Hawks team has a bright future.

Wow, I'm a celtics fan as my handle says.. but TNT has no idea what they are talking about. Kenny saying the Hawks have no chance in game 6 and Charles saying it will be very tough...wtf where have they been?

It's like they think Sam Cassell is 22 out there and going to do that every night, and the Hawks missed quite a few shots they normally would make on their homecourt tonight. Also we normally wouldn't get those extra possesions at ATL like we did tonight. I think 5 free chances at the hoop.

Outside of that we shot out of this world from 3 point land when the Hawks were on a run and Ray Allen actually looked like a reasonable good asset in this game.

IDK, I was just shocked how they thought it was going to be easy. Tonight wasn't easy we were ended up able to kill them before they could come back.

Turgon wrote:So, let me get this straight. The refs just handled 2 straight BS calls to the Hawks (blocking fouls? :nonono: ) but the real problem here is that KG should get the 2nd technical?

The Hawks have had 23 free throws against 9 for the Celtics and WE are getting the BS calls?

That's because the Celtics take nothing but jumpshots, it will come back to bite you when you aren't on. Atlanta takes it to the hole so obviously they will shoot more free throws. The refs made some TERRIBLE calls in favor of the Celtics tonight. Regardless it doesn't matter because we would've lost anyway, gave up way to many offensive boards early on.

Atlanta's athletic ability and shot blocking has made it really hard for Boston to score in the paint, it's the reason they are in the series, because Boston has to shoot more than they want to.
