Imagine that you trolling again. This time both fan bases. Lol
Is he trolling? Or is he looking at what's going on in this series and seeing an essentially mortal nature in how both teams have played, and then taking a firm stance as a result?
Food for thought. I think that if Murray can sort himself, folk will be singing a different tune, but tomorrow will tell a lot, right? And the Wolves, well, they are only playing -0.8 ORTG below their RS form offensively. They're actually not too much different than business as usual, a normal playoff-type drop. Now obviously that's with Ant losing his mind all over the Nuggets and others dropping off, so there's something there but still. The Nuggets, on the other hand, kind of look shattered offensively. MPJ (3pt shooting notwithstanding) and Murray have been tanking the offense, and they have nothing from the bench. Reggie Jackson still sucks, nothing new. And Jokic has been quite mortal for about half the series.
Denver has not looked dominant. In their defense (pardon the pun), the Wolves WERE the best defense in the league and are holding the Nuggets offense to +0.6 over Minny's RS DRTG, which is QUITE impressive. How much of that is injury versus defense, whatever, it's still been a major factor in this series.
Dallas was a below-average defense in the RS. They would have a LOT of trouble with Denver on the one end, though the same could be said the other way. OKC was the 4th-best D in the league, and watching them try to manage Joker would be very interesting.
EDIT: Ahead of return commentary, I understand Dallas has considerably improved in the PS on the defensive end, I just don't think they're well positioned to actually handle Denver's style of offense.
Not giving him the benefit of the doubt given his history
