I am new here, but touched to see how close this community appears to be. I've been a member of several forums over the past decade and people do build relationships via forums and can feel like remote family after a while.

Certainly sad news as I always appreciated his passionate yet reasonable and fair approach.
While I am sad he will no longer be actively contributing to discussions, he has certainly made enough of an impact over the years that his presence will continue to be felt.

The Knicks board is heartbroken. We are a tight group over there. Mags has been posting about 15 years on this website and I always enjoyed his posts. A very blunt and honest person with a wacky personality. Never met him IRL, but alot of us developed a friendship with him on this message board. Definitely will be missed heavily.
