THE AUGUSTA GROOVE!!!!

Formerly known as the Atlanta Krunk of the CBA, they have joined the PBL and will begin operations next season, from January to March.

They've got tryouts now, I'm hoping some of my homies try out because there's a hell of a lot of good ballers around the area.

The first player signed was a high school standout from a nearby town, Thomson, however there were only 5 people to show up at the last AUG tryout.... I hope some ballers do show up.

I hear they WON'T be playing at the James Brown Arena (The biggest arena in the City and the best venue for them to compete in) but instead will use Augusta State University's gym, which is nice, but still, I'd like to see them at James Brown. I guess there really isn't much of a basketball support here, which really sucks.

I want this team to stay.

NO Sports teams last long here. Except for the Augusta Greenjackets of course (owned by Cal Ripken)
