CBA Playoffs

Post#1 » by heavesrock » Tue Mar 18, 2008 3:34 am

The Oklahoma Calvary shocked the Yakama Sun Kings with a sweep in the Western Conference Championship. The Sun Kings, despite setting a record for the best ever CBA regular season, could not duplicate their success in the playoffs. The Sun Kings were forced to play the game they hosted at the Yakama Community College rather than the Sun Dome where they normally play, because the the Sun Dome was booked with a Home show.

In the east there was a play-in game between Pittsburgh and East Kentucky, which Pittsburgh won. The Minot Skyrockets played the winner of this, which Minot won the first game of. The Skyrockets will go for the sweep tomorrow at 7:00 Central Time Tuesday in Minot. The game can be watched via webcast at cbahoopsonline.com

Oklahoma had some serious talent on their roster. Former college players like Shawn Daniels and Brandon Dean can really play. There is absolutely no surprise here that these guys took home the trophy.
