This is an approach on the 2020 draft with Dallas' side, with fit and potential being the main criteria.

Tier I: Superstar. Trade anything but Luka to get this guy. Potential 1st/2nd best player on our championship team.

Tier II: All-Star. Trade anything but Luka/KP to get this guy. Potential 2nd/3rd best player on our championship team.

Tier III-A: Perfect starters for Dallas. Trade anything but our core-6 to get this guy. Potential 3rd/4th/5th best player on our championship team.

Vassell is such a perfect fit in that personnel grouping considering the way Dallas plays and executes. Haliburton is as well. I don't know what Dallas will do. They really aren't in position to land a key player that fits what they do at 18. I would honestly shoot for potential and draft Poku or Achiwua at 18. I would try to trade back from 31 and get multiple picks in the 2nd if I was Dallas. I would target shooters like the Gonzagas Tillie and Kispert
