Not sure what's up with Arizona basketball

I have never seen a Sean Miller team so unprepared, getting killed in consecutive games like this, and being terrible defensively. And this is probably their best recruiting class since he's been there.
This FBI case must be really stressing him out.

And they just barely escaped against an underwhelming UNLV team.

Sean Miller took longer than usual to arrive at his postgame presser, declined to make an opening statement, and eventually went on a 30-minute rant.
About what? A lot of things.
“Our effort is terrible”
While Arizona might have appeared to be a team that got on track, Miller said the team’s play is “disappointing” and defensively is where Arizona has “the biggest gap” — and all the issues start with a lack of effort.
Miller said the Wildcats are a “lifeless group a lot of times.”
“We really struggle to play with great effort,” he said. “I don’t know if I’ve seen a group that just can’t bring it, can’t work, can’t really fight defensively.”

we recruit like crap, comparatively speaking to all the other elites. we have only 4* and one 5* who everyone is passing on. but it was well reported that when Miller was recruiited by zona, his immediate stipulation was that he could have free reign over recruting. so that's beem known for eons. just what that meant is only now coming out
