GT #42: Nuggets @ Bullets 6 PM (MSN/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Sun Jan 21, 2024 4:38 pm

YOUR Washington Bullets are 7-34!

An epic 4th quarter collapse last night led to a loss to the Spurs.

Tonight, the defending NBA champions are in town. With a 29-14 record, they remain at the top of the West and are coming off a thrilling win over the Celtics in Boston. In fact, they handed the Cs their first home loss of the year.

Michael Malone has his same starting lineup from the NBA Finals run with the reigning FInals MVP and former 2x back to back MVP. His bench is led by a mix of veterans and recent draft choices such as Braun and Watson.

Let's be real, this game should not be competitive.

Will Joker decide he wont score and try to get 25 assists?

Apparently Gafford has cleared concussion protocol and should play.

Jokic has been on a roll lately. Might be some extended garbage time tonight.

Kuzma so freaking sloppy with the ball…so infuriating

I don’t know what Poole is thinking. First a silly transition foul. Then, trying to be a showman when they are already down… this is silly, low ball IQ play. All of a sudden we are down double digits.

Notwithstanding the talent differential and the low IQ of our “star duo”. Denver’s coaching is so superior to ours…

I like the shot distribution. Nobody has more than 6 shots at the half.

On a positive note, we should be all very encouraged with what we see from Bilal. Only 19 years old and showing flashes of great potential. I’m just worried Nepo Wes is not the right coach to develop him.

Kuzma is on a slump. Pretty bad play as of late. Please basketball Gods, allow us to trade him asap for a decent return.

Gaff is better on defensive boards than Bags.

I like our scrappy second unit of Delon—Shamet-Bilal-Blagey.

Poole…man what a bum on both sides of the court. And to think we are stuck with him for the long-term…

Jokic has had his way but Murray will probably have nightmares about Deni and Bilal.

So is Deni injured or are we starting to assume that he tried to send WUJ's wife a DM?

At least nine minutes less than every other starter... I'm going to almost have to give the benefit of the doubt that at this point, it is a direct order from Dawkins to showcase everyone else in the starting lineup. Again no one is saying he is having the greatest shooting night, but on only 5 shots, and still leads the team in rebounds in only 18 minutes and has once again the best +/- among the starters.

Poole played 10 more minutes had the same amount of points (4), was even worse from the field (1-7), had 0 assists (2 TOs), 1 reb, and 4 personal fouls.... :o :o :o

You've got to be fXcking kidding me at this point. Poole isn't even tradeable and Deni can play the 2, what is up with this imbalance?
