I wonder if this injury means Bilal won’t participate in the Olympic Games for Team France, which could be good news as it would allow him to focus on his development as well as gaining weight/muscle mass.

I don't get the humor.

Deni needs to work on his left hand.

Personally, I rather Bilal stays out in Washington DC working on his personal development and gaining weight and strength. We shall see…

Dawkins was on the Junkies this morning and said Bilal gained another inch. So he's at least 6'9'' at this point.

We think of Bilal as a SG/SF wing, but he is actually about the same size and length as Precious Achiuwa. Over time, Bilal will fill out. It's possible that he'll actually pan out as more of a PF/smallball center.

Precious was 6'-7.50" without shoes with a 7'-0.75" wingspan. Let's assume he grew to 6'-8" with a 7'-1" wingspan
If Dawkins is to be believed, Bilal is now 6'-8.75 without shoes, with probably about a 7'-3" wingspan. :o

It "seems" that this is the trajectory he is on, if he develops some offensive skills it will be gravy.

Given his timing, I think he could be a pretty good PF rim protector.

My point? That allows Deni to continue playing SF and allows more flexibility around your C (and the defense they need to provide), no?

Have we ever gotten an official measurement? I continue to see Bilal listed everywhere from 6'-6" to 6'-8". He looks like he's on the taller end of that.

FWIW Kuzma was 6"8 w/o shoes at the combine. I would like to see Bilal put on some weight before trying him at the 4.

Given his lack of offensive skills, the kid shouldn't be chirp like this.

I like the confidence honestly. With that being said, I’m taking the over in Siakam’s points next time they play

I still like the idea of Coulibaly playing the 2, at least to start next year. He's flashed the ball-handling skills but I'd like him in a role where he continues to flesh out his perimeter skills. You also have the plus he can overwhelm guards on defense with his size and length and has the foot speed to keep up.
