I don't think it'll happen immediately. One must be patient.

he got a massive windfall with his truth social stock being approved. i think he's restricted from trading for another 6 months, but he's gonna make billions when he sells that, around September, and it's going to tank pretty hard the second he divests.

Might be a penny stock before the 1 year lock-up agreement allows Trump to start selling shares.

With $3 million in revenue for 2023 and an active user base of a meager 5 million, I can't see institutional investors being very interested in adding it to their portfolios, and that's before considering the ramifications of aligning yourself with that brand to begin with.

At the end of the end of the day it'll likely be the derposphere that will invest and get taken for a ride.

A true DJT experience if you will, the little man will hold the bag.

Significant fallout/objections from on-air MSNBC hosts to the recent hiring of Ronna McDaniel.

I hope they continue to speak out. McDaniel, for the reasons stated, has no place in this role.

I get why the billionaire owner of NBC might want to force some sympathetic voices onto MSNBC against their will, but from a strictly business standpoint, forcing a right wing troll onto MSNBC goes directly against MSNBC's business model. They have explicitly said they do not intend to give a platform to whacko right wing conspiracy theories. This undermines the credibility MSNBC has with their audience.

I mean I get that that may be the point. But if you own MSNBC and are hoping to make money from it, why would you do this?

They changed their mind. McDaniel will not be an NBC employee.

Good on the MSNBC hosts for their explicit and forceful objections.

On Nicole Wallace's show, she had a great interview about this with Tim Snyder, Yale historian.
I can't seem to find a link to this interview but one of his and Nicole's bottom line objections
was that Ronna personifies the GOP trend in recent decades to ignore facts and argue in
bad faith. Those are really good reasons not to hire her. We don't need 2 Foxes.

I hope McDaniel becomes unemployable. Let her career flameout be a cautionary tale.

Not likely, but let me dream.

Nefarious intentions should result in harsher sentences. Then again I'm guessing these
are white men who committed these crimes. And white men who are determining their sentences.

Also not only were their intentions bad but they held positions of trust. That's another reason
they ought not to be shown much understanding.

Another example of bad faith conservative actors.
