:o

They could trade the following package for him:
Giddey
Dieng
Dort
2024 HOU FRP - top 4 prot
2024 UTA FRP - top 10, top 10, top 8 prot in '24, '25 and '26 respectively
2025 best of HOU/LAC pick - top 10 prot on HOU side
2025 MIA FRP - top 14 prot in 2025, unprotected in 2026
2025 PHI FRP - top 6 prot in '25, top 4 in '26 and '27
2026 LAC FRP
2026 HOU FRP - top 4 prot
2027 DEN FRP
2028 OKC FRP
2029 DEN FRP
2030 OKC FRP

That's 11 first round picks! The two in 2024 might be late lotto, the 2025 is likely in the teens, and the far out ones are anybody's guess.

They would field the following lineup:

PG Wallace
SG SGA
SF Williams
PF Giannis
C Chet

It would break the league. That's two MVP tier guys plus Williams and Chet, who are likely All-Stars who might sneak onto some All-NBA teams as well. It would rival the Curry/Durant era Warriors as the best team ever assembled.

Bucks would probably try to package Dame with Giannis and just take all the picks. Might take like 5 or 6. I'd probably still do it if I were OKC and then try to dump Dame - I'm sure the Lakers or some other team would take him. Not enough basketballs to go around if all those guys were on the same team.

Or, just keep him and try to have next year's starting All Star lineup be an all Thunder affair.

The Sixers cap situation next-year is amazing, practically everyone is expiring, I wonder it Maxey will get Maxed or nearly maxed.

I mentioned this as the deadline when they were trading Harden, but there is one glaring problem... The FA class.
Its Siakam, Anunoby, or a 34 y/o Paul George.
None of those guys are all nba guys. All of them will get 40-50M annually. And all of them are happy on contenders that are as good or better than Philly.
Maybe they can somehow pull OG and then SnT Harris or Hield plus picks for a 4th piece... but I dont see much daylight there.

They are definitely going to have an interesting off-season, I suspect they will try to run it back with as-many of these guys as they can.

Bron “should” seriously consider teaming-up with Joel if they can run it back, it would be foolish to just take the money and play it out in LA.

Totally agree that it's pointless for LeBron to stay in LA. I think we'll learn a lot based on who they hire as the head coach. If it's somebody like JJ Redick, then LeBron is definitely staying on as the real HC/GM lol.

Lebron and Embiid would be fun to watch and to root against. Those two plus Maxey would be great. Probably the 7/8 seed in the regular season to make sure they have enough left in the tank for the playoffs. But they'd crush the Celtics or whoever else (Wizards) is a top seed.

I've been picturing Klay Thompson in Philly next year, and was also wondering if they could bring Jerami Grant home. I might take that over a one year LeBron rental.

Sixers got like $60 million in cap room but what...9-10 roster spots to fill? If 80% of that cap space is going to one guy, can they conceivably fill out the rest of the roster with $16 million? Oubre isn't coming back on the vet minimum.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
