Will Dawkins gives me a lot of confidence. Super smart, super put together dude.

Bilal comes off as a sweet kid, don't you think? &, man, his English is waay better than a year ago!! :)

At 2 I don't think I can consider Buzelis. If we were at 5 or 6 then maybe.

I'm inclined to agree with you at the moment. But Buzelis is on my list of guys that could conceivably be picked. Dawkins said in his interview that he is thinking about where guys will be 2 or 3 years down the road, he is less worried about what they can do for us on Day 1. Buzelis is a guy with enough intrinsic talent to be pretty damn good 2 or 3 years down the road if he works hard enough.

Clingan’s jump shot also looked really good in that workout.

I am curious about any potential trade down scenarios that could net you 2/3 of Sheppard, Clingan, Buzelis. Still maintain that Buzelis is the most talented player in the draft.

A trade down of 2 + 26 for 7 + 14 could work.

I figure one of Holland or Buzelis is there at #7. I'd take McCain at #14. (I don't think Clingan will last that long, but if he is there, I'd be fine with him at #14 too.)

Very impressive!

If he becomes a reliable shooter, that's a game changer. It's going to be fun to see what these guys have added in the last 2-3 months of private training.

I can't recall a case of anyone trading down from the #2 pick, though I suppose it must have happened....

I wouldn't give both 2 & 26 for 7 & 14 in any case, but that's just me. I'd do 2 & 51 however.

I had heard that Clingan shot 3s routinely in practice at UConn but it just wasn't his role there.

I'd probably be pissed if it's anyone else and lose my sh** if it's Clingan, Castle or Risacher.

Is there any chance Buzelis joins this group?

Speaking as a Blazers fan, I might do 2,51 for 7,14 for Portland already has picks 34,40 and doesn't really need
26. Depends on who Atlanta picks at 1 for if they pick Sarr, they'd have to be sold on Risacher at 2 being that much
better than Matas or Ron Holland at 7.

This is business, I wonder if any team will nab Bronny and hold him hostage so the Lakers can’t take him at 55?

Buzelis, Sheppard & Collier are in that next group.

My main issue with Buzelis is the shooting. He needs to shoot it respectably for the other skills to work because he doesn't have elite quickness or handle. He's more fluid than athletic IMO. I think he's another jack-of-all trades, master of none but at least he's 6-10+. I worry he falls into the Jared Jeffries offensive pit of futility if his jumper remains a concern.
