DC vs. Portland

Post#1 » by badinage » Fri Dec 22, 2023 4:11 am

Up 11 at the half.

Kuz pouring it on — 18 points. Deni leading the team in rebounds and assists, and also has 9 on only 5 shots. Tyus making heady plays and not turning it over — natch.

Looking crisp, the ball is moving, nobody’s jacking, the shot distribution is nice.

I can get with this.

I'm catching the end of the game rn. Also we're 25% thru the season and already giving up on making game threads (thanks for making it)

We're up 110-103 with 5 minutes to go. That means a 70% chance of a wiz loss.

And it's 110-108 now.

Wiz escape with a 1 pt win. Almost lost it at the buzzer. (Coulibaly on D in the last play  )

Look at our front court/roster, do you see an NBA rebounder

There's no rebounding from the backcourt either.

Given Kuzma's disappointing decline in rebounding, we now have below average rebounders at every position except Deni at SF.

…actually Coulibaly AND Mike Muscala, who came over with a hard double team using his height and length…and, most importantly, didn’t foul Grant.
