There’s about 6 guys I might have taken fourth.

Thats why I didn’t. And why that draft spot stinks in this one.

Please be aware: Flaco’s list has been exhausted. I do not have a pick for him.

Me too

Was worried the BPA would be a no-defense guard.

There is actually a guy I'd take before both of them. Probably two guys

He and CP3 are the ones I was referring here

I decided I was more or less dead set against taking a point guard with my first pick (and prefer Nash to CP at any rate). AD? The version of him I like in these games costs almost 20 FGA. And people still don’t view him as a first option offensively.

Both great picks but not ones I wanted to open with. Other options at the spot were Embiid (hate building with him and he needs to prove his playoff worth before I’ll ever pick him again) and Nash of course.

Ultimately decided to zig instead of zag at that spot- go a different way than everyone else. Maybe the wrong move but it’s what I tend to do when I’m not feeling the draft spot.

I almost picked Reggie- ride the point guard thing even further. I didn’t think I could pass on getting a first round talent though. Harden despite some issues is a top talent in this pool and prime Paul George is perfect with him.

Chauncey should not have fallen that far.

I actually debated taking him with my last pick just cause he was still there, but I felt the need for a bigman with size who can space was a bigger need than Billups.

I forgot we could use the Pistons. :nonono:

I can’t believe nobody with one of those top 3 picks took Chauncey.

I’ve never been more sure of anything. He fit amazingly with all 3 top picks.

Every now and then you get a drop that changes a draft. Here we are.

I never like to take players like him in round 2. Anyhow without Reggie I would've preferred also Gasol over him

I don't know if I'd say it changes the draft. Would have made my life a bit simpler though.

I don’t really see how he’s lower caliber than Gasol or older Reggie. 2006 Billups was All NBA 2nd with incredible stats.

The only issue really with Embiid/TMAC in this pool IMO is the cost- an issue mostly mitigated by landing Billups.

He’s a third rounder in a normal game. Shouldn’t have been a third rounder here.

I actually considered Billups too. But after getting cute in round 1 I thought I really needed to go BPA in round 2. I passed on Nash because I had a suspicion Harden would fall.

Haven't put down a list, but if there isn't enough top-end talent for everybody, why do we start at 1999/2000? I mean, T-Mac is usually a late 2nd / early 3rd rounder (?) due to his high FGA cost. AD and George are excellent 2nd options. They aren't crafty enough scorers to build around them. Don't get me started on Dwight. Useful player for sure. I highly doubt you can win with him being your best player.
