Warriors he put up godly scoring numbers, but took loads of shots.

In philly he scored less but had a more complete game.

Wilt's impact numbers got better when he lowered his scoring load and focused more on defense and playmaking.

Using 67 is perfect in this format since he's as good as ever (better passing/defense than the earlier seasons and beat Russell in the playoffs) and only took 14.2 FGA.

I think he'd get more burn if he played enough games in that one Chicago season.

I'm not wild about the Pelican year you refer to.

Yeah, hard to be effective in these games as a starting PG when you shoot 20% of your shots not from the rim or a 3 and are sub 40% on those shots.

He was starting to turn the corner as a player as he was entering his Prime in 2022--his TS+ was finally neutral, he was shooting less from the mid-range/floater and basically a better defensive version of 2024 Mike Conley.

It's really a shame because you could see him impacting the game in many ways with his IQ and 3P shot and he was putting together his entire package and maximizing it before injuries derailed his career.
