Possible trade for Critt...

Post#1 » by sonichound16 » Mon Feb 4, 2008 7:04 pm

Would the Grizz do this one? Kurt Thomas and either the Phoenix 2008 1st or a second rounder for the newly acquired Collins and Crittenton? Thomas expires this year giving you big cap room and you get a pick to help restock the team for cap filler and a guy who will be battling for PT with Conley and Lowry.

No way... but I would do:

Collins, Lowry
for
Thomas, Phoenix 08 1st

Can only trade Critt by himself(same with Collins) so it wouldn't work until the season is over anyway.

Actually the Collins deal will work.

Collins
for
Thomas
as one trade

then
TE(Lewis trade), Phoenix 08 1st
for
Lowry

Memphis should not trade Critt. He will be a star in the making. Plus, he is under a Rookie Contract, so he offers no cap relief.

as much as it hurts to say this, if crittenton plays near the same level as lowry, I say let lowry go and keep conley and critt. When conely is out, you change the game completely with a 6'5 point guard who can dunk at will.

Exactly, Great Point...
This way you keep a guy that will push Conely as well.
