So you were saying Bargs only showed up for 3 games in the Nets series not he was the only one to show up for those 3 games. Ok, that is not how I read it. Shooting the rock I understand your point but... I will just leave it on that positive note.

I originally said he was the only one of the guys who could shoot threes who showed up for 3 games in the playoffs.

Mo Pete went 0 for 2, 2 for 3, 1 for 4, 0 for 0, 3 for 3, and 0 for 0 from 3. He shot well over all in games 5 and 6. Jose had a 2 for 3 game from 3 once. AP had a 4 for 7 game from 3, but shot poorly from 2 in game 1, was good in game 2, and non existent for the rest of the series. Everyone was extremely inconsistent over the series. Bargs shot the lights out in games 4, 5, and 6.

If you'd like to argue with that, go ahead.

I'm not arguing with you at all when it comes to Barg's shooting for that 3 game stretch in the playoffs. His strength is shooting 3's and that is what he did and I agreed with you.

It is the other stuff that was missing from Bargnani's game. If we are talking about one tool, Bargnani has shown up for plenty of games but if we are talking about games where he brought the full package those are really hard to find.

Edit: I thought you were a bit harsh on the other players but if we are talking about strictly shats then as I said before I can somewhat see where you are coming from.

Anybody else think Guy Smiley and Fariview4Life have been in an on-going argument since early 2005?

In Sam Mitchell's system, you can't be a one-trick pony which is exactly what Jason Kapono is. Smitch needs guys who can play defence, be active, throw up every open shat, and guys who are just agressive. Kapono fits neither one of those, so therefore he can't succeed in our system.

That's a pretty bold prediction considering it has almost zero chance of proving accurate.
