if graham was involved he would've been mentioned. look like graham's stuck on our bench for the rest of the season.

Juan is the one with bigger salary it seems in this deal. Plus yes im watching BC talking right now on Raps TV, Dixon HAS already been traded, just need the final word from the other GM to make it official, then he can announce who is coming to Toronto.

Thats what I was thinking.

Maybe, maybe not. If we're taking back a few more dollars for this season to help a team out on luxury tax, then the cash is not equalization for talent, but for our budget.

That said, if the player is a complete stiff, it won't bother me. Sometimes you can do a couple of favors with a trade like this. You make Juan's agent happy, and you make another GM feel good. It's all about accumulating the most poker chips.

Good for Juan but if we gave up Juan AND got cash considerations in return than this other player can't be too great. Probably just practice fodder. I'm predicting some scrubby big man or PG.

What's so intriguing? They are going to suck for a few more years, they will NOT hire someone like Bryan Colangelo, and leafs fans will be acting like the Stanley Cup is the holy grail of sports.

Maybe the other player couldn't be contacted yet, and they'd rather have his old team let him know than have the media break it.
