He was beastly in college... a 20/10 guy... nowadays he is just a 3 point jumpshooter. I wouldn't mind him if he committed to helping out on the boards. I think he is a very underutilized player on all the teams that he has been on.

Wow 20 and 10, didn't know that. But yeah I saw a couple games and read how he was quite a power guy at DePaul.

I heard he was best used on the Clippers. With the Knicks he's been more diverse, but with the Suns he was severely under-used.

trust me TD, you don't want him..he's one of the worst defenders I've ever seen, and he has been poor for his team while he's on the court, which is embarrassing because the Bucks are bad as it is..

Well can he honestly provide less than Elson? I don't think so. I mean with all due respect we were beat by a team that had the front court considering of Leon Powe,Big Baby, and a poor mans Matt Bonner.

Pass on Villanueva. Athletic, but he's a soft player, from all that I've seen and read. Also not a solid defender or rebounder, partly because of his size and quickness situation. A true tweener, and too much of a perimeter front-court player.

If were going to get anybody it should be a traditional front-court player who rebounds and defends above-averagely.

Ryan Gomes (for those who don't know about him... big 3/4 foward with diverse skill, a good rebounder, plays defense, and has some athleticism. Younger player, but smart and mature (went to Providence for 4 years), just lacks PO experience. Underrated player, too, IMO. Overall, I think he'd be a nice fit. I think Minnesota may want to get their younger (younger than Gomes) fowards more minutes, too.)

I'd especially like any of Haslem, Foster, Thomas, Artest, Miller.

I don't think so. Pietrus would give us what Ime and Bowen give us. A three point shooter on the wing. What we need is a young athletic big who can grab rebounds and play solid interior d. Tyrus would be great if we could land him.

As bad as Elson has played this year, we can't trade our backup center without getting another big to replace him. We absolutely have to have two center type players if we want to be able to compete with teams like LA and Phoenix in the playoffs.

Dude, I would take Haslem and Blount for expirings in a second. IMO Blount would be a upgrade over Elson. He's certainly not that much worse that Elson on D, and the way he torched the Spurs in their last meeting, he seems to have a much better offensive game than Elson. And of course, Haslem would be a great pick up for us.
