Beating the Lakers is always nice but whooping their ass like this is extra special. Nice win.

And 39 three pt attempts tonight. Hopefully they realize the importance of shooting 3s.

Was thinking if he kept chucking it (and missing) and the Laker bench put a few more shots together in the 4th, they could've mounted a decent enough comeback to bring back Bron/AD and turn it into a real game.

EG was hot trash tonight

LA got their 4th quarter run and we had another classic Suns 4th quarter (only 22pts with the starters playing good mins). Good thing we built a massive buffer

Big 3: 3-4
Book/KD: 9-6
Book/Beal: 3-1
Beal/KD: 1-2
KD: 2-4
Book: 2-1
Beal: 0-0

Total: 20-18
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I love that KD played all game long with a defensive mentality, he was all over LeBron since the start of the game.

Beal showed how great he can be for us. His repertoire on offense is amazing.

3 page game thread on a winning suns game in a blowout. Checks out.

BTW, Bol Bol with his fourth consecutive positive game. 6-6-2-2-2 in 17 minutes. 0 TOs.

Horrible win. Should have won by 90.

Yeah, I still do not understand how 2 of the great offensive players of their generation do not get this, and stubbornly do their iso sht king of court style one on one pullup J vomitory boring (and ineffective) stuff.
Beal gets it, Allen gets it, and Gordon is a chucker. Not sure wassup with KD and Book not even giving it a try (or no real effort up until this game it seemed like they are going through the motions with about 80% intensity - then being surprised that thats not good enough... while saying some very boring generic stuff to the media afterwards. (hence the 3 page game thread Frank)

Hopefully we have a good 20 game strech with no injuries, and 2 hot shooting players every game in that strech (be it Beal, Book, KD, Allen, Gordon - or somebody else who gets left wide open). Maybe then they taste success and follow through. Then we might even have a slight chance of grabbing home court in the first round. The talent is there, even with all the flaws.
(And no, that still wouldnt make us legit contenders imho, with this years Boston and Denver still lurking... Clippers too - although I feel like they are peaking too soon, playoff injury upcoming for Kwahi or PG...)

Seriously though, wins like this should give us hope that we can be a terror in the playoffs. Can’t just dismiss it because it’s “only the Lakers”.

People will find a way to dismiss Devin Booker and KD.

They've been fun to watch tonight.

4th quarter though... Oof.

Yes, tonight they led pretty much from start to finish. I’ll dismiss the 4th Q woes since Suns were dominant throughout the game. I guess lakers blew their load for an IST trophy cause they’ve been bottom 5 team the last 2-3 weeks. Glad to see Beal with a season high and a Suns win.

We are fully healthy and we are starting to get some reps as a team, this game is an step in the right direction.

On paper we are contenders and we need to show it on the court. I believe in this team.

Beal's importance to this team on full display. Nice guy too, adds personality to the team with the way he celebrated after Okogie's dunk as one example. Hachimura also likes his ex-teammate a lot based on their conversation after the game.

Most importantly everybody's healthy and played a role in blowing out the Lakers on their home court.

Could point to a lot of things that kick-started the Suns in this one but definitely want to highlight 9 steals between Durant, Booker & Beal.

The activity & disruption from the Suns Big 3 set the tone in this one.

On top of the steals, the Big 3 of Durant (6), Booker (4) and Beal (1) had 11 deflections between them.

Definitely I thought that they were playing with more urgency on defense. That's the way.

I think our bench is not nearly as bad as many suggest.

Gordon
Little
Bol Bol
Okogie

That is a good 9 with the starters. Difference is energy, and Okogie and Bol Bol tend to bring that more than the rest of the team.
