They only need to overturn 1 goal at home and they'll play a better starting 11 for that.

Real happy for the honourable Paços de Ferreira squad.

2nd leg is going to be super interesting. Anything is possible.

That was more like it. 3-0 but should have been a lot more. Great to see Kane staying at the club and scoring goals.

Bryan Gil looks like a sure thing, kid was absolutely dominant tonight. Has to be one of the most exciting talents we've signed in ages.

Can't believe the English press. any one would have thought that Spurs had won the CL not that a proposed superleague club had just beaten a team no-one has heard of 3-0.

The dream is over for Paços de Ferreira, but all I know is that the lowly club's twitter owned the internet for a fortnight.

I think the reaction is more about Kane returning and scoring than anything else. To be honest it hasn't seemed like that much to me but I dodge the English press like somebody coughing on the train.

Great match between Leicester and Napoli last night. Finished 2-2 after we had a 2-0 lead which may hurt us in the end but still a wonderful performance by two good teams. People saying that we are the two favourites are just speaking bookie rubbish. Leicester were not even in the 1st pool of teams and of course we have this ludicrous rule where 8 CL teams can be knocked out of their tournament and then enter ours in the last 32 teams. If we make it to the knockout stages we'll have done well. Personally I'd be happy with a last 16 and hope for a last 8.

Napoli looked a really class team though.

Honestly a bizarre match between Spurs and Vitesse. 3-0 up and cruising, suddenly only 3-2 up and nervy at the half.

Then the second half had three sendings off, including the Vitesse goalkeeper... absolute carnage.

Good to get a win for Conte's first game, but it was a strange spectacle.

A dominant display with a disappointing result, seems to sum Leicester up this season. European dreams on a thread.

Sessegnon what a complete idiot. Gets a chance under a new coach and blows it like that.

Well that might be one of the worst Spurs losses I've ever seen. Incredible stuff.

No matter how much Arsenal, West Ham, Chelsea etc fans might think they hate Spurs, they can never hate us more than Spurs fans do themselves. Every time it feels like we're moving toward something positive, something like this happens. Just an unending disappointment, this club. I know it's a tinpot cup but it's not the point.
