If the draft were today they say we would select Hasheem Thabeet...After looking over his current season number it might not be a bad choice for this team...having him come off our bench replacing SammyD would fill a huge hole on our team...When Sammy leaves the court our D really struggles and by drafting Thabeet we would fill that hole...plus he's got big upside.

His numbers have really seen an upswing on the offensive end this year (FT% big +)...Has anyone seen him play this year?

If we end up with Hasheem Thabeet I will scream so loud that it will deafen your children.

How loud will you scream if we end up with Serge Ibaka? One site I saw had us taking Darell Arthur. Both seem to be interesting prospects.

Unless we were to deal Dalembert, I see no chance we would pick Thabeet. I have been impressed with Thabeet's improvement since last year though. He still has a long way to go, but I think he could develop into a pretty good player. I like him more than Hibbert at this point.

If he's a mid teen pick, it's not awful...they could use another big man off the bench, and Thabeet may develop into a nice defensive player. If you are picking him in the top 10, then no, but where the Sixers would appear to ultimately fall in the draft, it's something to consider.

If we take him in the draft I will explode with anger and boil with rage for the rest of my entire life. He's not worth a lotto pick in my opinion and is a complete project of a center at this point in time. I would rather go for a point guard or guard.

I think the teens might be a reach for him...He should be killing people with the ability he has. He seems too passive. I wonder if he has the intestinal fortitude to be successful in the NBA. Don't like Hibbert either. He is too slow for the defensive 3 second rule.

No NBA team should ever draft big men from Europe. You have to give Nelson credit for Nowitzki BUT the chances of successfully drafting an NBA caliber European big man at any position in the draft has to have a very low success percentage.Gasol and Okur aren't worth the money...

Honestly from the little (very little) I've seen of him, I was actually impressed. He's actually got a nice face up game with a couple of post-up moves. I'm trying to find more film on him but it's been difficult.

But I wouldn't be upset if we ended up with him if we draft beyond 10th.

With Dalembert on the books until 2011, I think it's at least a year too early for the Sixers to use a first-round pick on a center. Particularly with the team as flawed as it is at PF and SG.

There's also that Gallinari kid whose got some game that interests me, but I'm not sure if he'll just be another Euro-bust.

I think we just need to hope that Mayo's stock falls far enough that he drops to us. Because I still think he's going to be a perennial all-star if he gets his attitude together.

I can't say I'm in love with him, but it would depend on where we drafted him. It would be nice to have some younger big depth though.

hmm @9th there goes mayo to the bulls, hopefully we get the 9th
Thank God for Don Nelson. He makes basketball fun. He and Mike D'Antoni should be revered for doing what most coaches are afraid to do: let players play.

Actually, until the draft order is official, those are just how they rank their players.
The NBADraft.net Mock Draft is a year round, continuosly updated projection of the NBA Draft.

While the NBA season is going on, the teams are projected in reverse order of record. Once the NBA season ends, the order of the teams from 15-60 are in place. After the May draft lottery, the official order of the draft is set.

The team needs are not factored into the mock draft until after the NBA season ends.

NBADraft.net has been the only site to project both the first and second rounds of the draft for the current and following year for the past 5 years.

Our projections are based on the opinions of the scouts that work for NBADraft.net, and the NBA and International scouts that we speak with.
