Boy, he sure destroyed those narratives didn't he. He was like the only good player taken in the top 10. Sixers probably got the 2nd best player in that draft at 21. The one thing the Sixers did that actually went right in the last 8 years.

He didn't seem to like basketball. That's usually a bad sign. I guess he learned to like it.

IIRC, didn't Edwards during his draft process talk about how the only reason he plays basketball is because he wasn't good enough at football? Swear I remember something like that.

For some reason I remember him saying he preferred to play baseball.

Another Jordan parallel. The signs have been there the whole time. Will the TWolves survive if he leaves to play for the Twins for a year?

Knicks announce Mitchell Robinson sustained a stress injury to his left ankle and will be re-evaluated in 6-8 weeks.

So...Boston vs. Minnesota finals?

A lot people want to rip the Nuggets but that Wolves team looks scary. They are so solid 1-8, big, and athletic. Naz Reid would be great on the Sixers. If Edwards is going to play like a young Jordan they are the best team in the league.

OKC vs Minn will be an unbelievable Finals and I’d have OKC winning.

Totally agree. MIN has the length and size to deal with Boston and shut down their basic scheme, and Edwards is the closer that Boston has no answer for. I'd give the ball to Brown before Tatum in an iso contest. If the Wolves can get by Denver and OKC, I actually think they have the best shot at beating Boston.

Oh look, the Wolves patiently developed a young, long and athletic team over several years, including NAW, McDaniels, Reid, etc. Now they're poised to reap the harvest.

Tim Connelly is probably the best GM in the game right now. He built the Nuggets and now he completed the Wolves team that is dominating them. Need to give a lot of credit to Gersson Rojas and Sachin Gupta also who built the foundation in MIN.

Eh, I think Sam Prestie is better. Connelly got lucked into Edwards. He got Gobert and Conley which were both great moves, but the juggernaut that is OKC will be great for years, the Wolves will be back to middle of road in 3 years when Gobert is past his prime.

Jokic MVP. Are nuggets fans celebrating by wishing death to Embiid on the general board?

Anunoby with a hamstring issue and Brunson with a foot issue, along with Mitchell Robinson out for 6-8 weeks? Who could have seen the wheels falling off on the Knicks?

Josh Hart has played 374 out of 384 possible minutes on this playoff run. Playing 97.4% of the possible minutes.

Current record for most single season playoff minutes is held by ‘05 Rip Hamilton (1,079). Hart currently averaging 46.8 MPG—3.6 more than Rip on that run. Iron man

Once he retires or moves to a different team, their fanbase will go back to what it was before, barely filling up 75% of the arena.
