So it’s very likely that the Celtics either play Sixers or the Heat in the first round. How crazy is that? Lol

No that crazy. They'll sweep Miami and probably beat us in 5.

The Heat would get two wins off of Boston. Wouldn't be shocked if it was 3.

You're right! Once Jimmy Butler activates his playoff mode it'll be a battle. Throw in Tyler Herro canning jumpers from outside and playing with the upmost confidence..You don't want him mad! Can't forget about Bam Adeybayo either! He's going to dominate in the low post while providing the physicality of a gladiator once his playoff mode unleashes! Terry Rozier is going to want REVENGE in this game too! I hear he's really ANGRY and wants to play Boston BAD! Haywood Highsmith is a sniper from outside, Cody Martin will turn it up a notch as well. Guy has a nitrous button he's been waiting to mash! Can't forget about Delon Wright providing ELITE defense 94 feet from the bucket!
Can't sleep on Nikola Jovic either! He's a unicorn just like Porzingis and can't neutralize him in the post with his nuclear athletic abilties! Throwing in the dog mentality and the coaching prowness of a savant like Erick Spoelestra and you've yourself a fight to the finish in a series that will certainly go down as historical!

I'm just kidding...This is all just a collection of imagined stupid **** I read from posters on the GB.

No, this was a demand of Brett Brown, who Harris just signed to a new contract. Jimmy had been very critical of Brett’s lack of prep and in-game decisions. He was especially supportive of Ben, who Jimmy said was unfairly taken completely off ball after playing the whole season that way. Not that Simmons was ever going to come around, but we ditched Jimmy for Brown.

The stars have lined up for an ECF push. All we have to do is win tonight at home against the Heat as 5.5-pt favorites, then beat the Knicks and probably the Pacers in the 1st two rounds.

Knicks are a tough team, but when healthy we've just been better. It's all about how close to 100% Embiid is.

I don't think they'd win, I just don't see the Heat ever getting swept in the first round of the playoffs.

A tremendous error in player appraisal. Nobody whose passion for the game had been questioned considerably should've been trusted to evolve his game when the stakes involved are a decision between keeping him and one of the NBA's already-established best players, while the decision could've also involved trading Simmons for a king's ransom at the time. You simply keep Butler and surround him and Embiid with what you obtain in trade for Simmons.

I don't know man. Miami it did last year with basically the same roster. I wouldn't put it past them to do it again. I think they actually beat NY if they end up playing them as the 7th seed. Despite all the stupid sayings, Butler does have an higher level he reaches in the postseason. Spo is a very good, very well prepared coach too. We're going to have our hands full tonight.

Ben never developed but I am not going to kill a team for choosing the guy in his second year who had just made an all NBA team and all star team

The move then was to just run it back and make decisions then. AND even then the second choice was not to sign another **** center in Horford lol. They botched it all around

This game makes me nervous mostly because Spo has had a week to cook up some black magic for this game.

In my opinion, the reason why the Heat can stay close with the Celtics is because they have a big who can switch and not play drop defense. They switch everything, which helps keep the game close. Then, they rely on their alpha player to beat Tatum in an individual battle during crunch time.

I just wonder if Heat can do it with their current roster

So has Nurse...Never forget the torment he gave us when he faced him. It's a mad scientist free for all. The playoffs is where Nurse makes his bones.

At least we're going with the correct narrative this time and not the one that says management chose Tobias Harris over Jimmy.

Do it Jo, but don't have one before the game, or for the rest of the playoffs please!
