We're in the play-in, so we could end up the 8th seed.

So, if we beat the Heat, we'll play against a great Villanova team.
Sub-optimal.

8 straight wins and to be honest. 8 straight losses would have still ended up in the 7/8 play in game

So those games were essentially meaningless outside of home court which in my opinion doesn’t matter much in nba as it used to.

Tempting to rest Embiid and go for the 8th. Our best shot at the Ticks is when he is relatively healthy.

The only thing bumming me out is not having Melton by now. He’s our only backcourt stopper sadly.

Embiid, Maxey, Harris, Lowry, Oubre, Batum, Reed is a solid playoff 7. Hield is probably 8. Maybe Council or Martin are 9?
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Payne/Downtin
Maxey/Melton/Hield
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin
Embiid/Reed/Bamba

Our best shot is the small chance that someone else knocks them out for us.

Come on man you know this is not true. If the team had gone 0-8 now that would be bad. They played inspired basketball. Maxey got better, Kelly got better, Embiid came back. They did everything they could to grab the 6th seed and it did not work out. Big deal they are a better team because of it. Now on to the play-in with momentum.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

Bring on the draft

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.
