Mo Bamba is a horrible rebounder and a horrible defensive player, the only thing he can do is block shots occasionally.

Bamba is hot garbage
but the fact that his replacement will be some old corpse doesn't even matter

We keep celebrating after we hit shots, guys need to get back! I don't understand leaving Trae Young on a switch! Our rotations are trash! Atlanta is running a three point layup line on us because we aren't getting back on defense. Kelly Oubre keeps crying for foul calls instead of actually playing defense. My God he sucks! Mo Bamba is beyond useless out there! Why am I even watching at this point? Oh yeah...Smith and Council.

I need to do the same. This is unwatchable. I really just wanted to get a look at Hield, Payne, Smith, and Council

It's laughable that EB really thought Tobias would be a good 3rd option for this team. One of the softest players in team history. Guy gets the ball and then takes 3 seconds to process his next move, which is usually dribble dribble pass.

Yeah I am checking out too. Gonna roll one and watch Tobias scream that he's an all-star on repeat because I need a good laugh right now

I said in the other thread Sixers would be under .500 in like 5 or 6 weeks. I think I overestimated them.

Oubre is one of the few nice things we got this season, no wonder the best players don't want to play for this franchise.

I hope what I'm hearing now continues if the Sixers want to S&T Tobias for some random dude. Do not talk about how Tobias is too good and how the Sixers would be downgrading.

@WSH tomorrow
CHA home on March 1st
Those are the next two winnable games.
They have six games in between.

Payne and Oubre have brought the energy this 4th quarter. Can't be mad at the effort. They've given it..

Oubre contributing a lot, our highest scorer today and doing all the little things like crashing the boards hard.

Should’ve just traded Tobias to the highest bidder. Same with Oubre and anyone else that would yield us picks. What was the point of Hield if you’re going to irreparably wreck the backcourt defense for the rest of the season? Trae, Mitchell, Brunson, etc would all hang huge numbers on us in a playoff series. We’re not a serious team, so why even pretend for what’s left of this year?

I don't think Hield was that bad defensively tonight. Our defensive problems continue to be on rotations and switches. Guys get confused and teams are just swinging the ball on us to open shooters. When we do force a miss, we're not getting rebounds which almost always lead to open threes. It's been a major issue ever since we lost Melton and it got much worse once Embiid and Batum went out. I miss Covs defense, but I'm not sure we'll ever see him again. Rebounding continues to be a l problem.
On a positive note, I like what Payne, and Hield gave us. Oubre was good Oubre tonight. You can see the logic behind having these guys as role players paired with Embiid/Maxey. I have no doubt had Embiid not gotten hurt we would be killing it right now. The Hield and Payne additions would pay off more had things not gone south for us.
I also like that Council and Smith continue to get minutes. I love the energy they bring and the mistakes have really been at a minimum between the two of them. Need to keep those guys around.
Another loss tonight, but at least we may it interesting at the end. Maybe I can talk myself into believing that we can build off of this. IDK, team is looking bad right now and it's mainly on the defensive end. We can fix that but guys need to stay disciplined. Rebounding.... There's no hope.

Re: Hawks @ Sixers
We got nice additions, Oubre is still our 3rd best player, but obviously just mediocre roster for championship aspirations, we've needed one of the best individual RS campaigns ever from Embiid (until he got injured) to stay afloat, and now it's all crumbling, Maxey is too mediocre to lead us anywhere even in RS, Harris is average player.
