Melton is a starter

the issue is that Martin, Korkmaz (sadly), House and Springer (sadly) aren't NBA players at times. Oubre, Bev, and Morris are also playing more than they should

so yeah

Melton is mediocre at best and has had a back problem two years in a row. Should be traded in the next 5 days.

The team is missing 4 starters tonight. No team can overcome that, regardless of whether Embiid is in or out. Even iron man Tobias is missing games this year. It’s absurd.

Stop with the "missing 4 starters" excuse. This team struggled to win any games with just Embiid out. It's a very poorly constructed roster.

If the plan is for Biid to come back...got to make moves to stay afloat and also make it easier for him when he comes back.
If the plan is for Biid to sit out...then you need to pivot to get some younger bodies or picks with all of the expirings

Cannot keep this same roster regardless IMO.

Other than Jo, Maxey, and Tobias; the rest of the team is better off the bench at this point. But they have to start 5, which means for the rest of the year you're always going to have at least three players overextended and at least one bench guy who shouldn't be playing at all getting minutes.

The Sixers own their own pick this year. It's a bad draft apparently, but a lotto pick still sells on draft night. Just throwing that out there.
