So we're halfway into the season and it's beggining to look like it's going to finish the same way as always.

Insert Pikachu face.

But don't worry, we will do cosmetic changes as usual and " don't panic" moves next year, same ole story.

No reason why Tobias shouldn’t fetch something similar for CP3 and filler

Rozier filled a necessity by the Heat.

I just don't understand why GSW would trade for Tobias

Their core are all mid 30s and they have a massive tax bill so they either try to win now or blow it up

Harris for CP3 and Moody (equivalent of a 1st) might appeal to them

"might" appeal to them without explaining what necessity Tobias covers is weird. Not to mention GSW still would need to trade Wiggins to other team to not overlap Wiggins AND Tobias.

Wiggins & Kuminga are similar & they’re working it out

The Warriors are desperate for size (Saric is playing 20 minutes a nigh) and some secondary ball handling (Podziemski is playing 24 minutes a night)

Harris is levels above those guys and I can see him being very useful there

Embiid reinjured his already hobbled leg? That’s why you don’t listen to the national discourse on if you dodged the Nuggets game. Who cares if fans are babies about you not playing? Jfc

Dario is bigger than Tobias. And Tobias is not a good secondary ball handler

He isn't a good rebounder either, which is the point of adding size

The Dubs certainly might be interested in upgrading Wiggins to Harris. Last nights game could help matters in that regard.

Wiggins and a 1st for Harris is absolutely a trade the Sixers should be interested in. Of course to match salary you have to add Paul and Morris. Maybe they'll take Korkmaz too after that game last night.

The illusion should be over even for the diehards and the realization should sink in that this team is fatally flawed and needs to be retooled. Possibly rebuilt, but that's a conversation for another day.

Another asset and a worthy reclamation project for a guy who you know doesn't cut it is a good starting point.

Assuming Jo is done, this one is going to end in the play-in. So that will be different.

To be fair, if Embiid can muster up the strength to play the bottom feeders he should be playing against the top teams whose fans are paying premiums to come see him in town. It's no joke to fans paying $800 per ticket only for him to be a 5-minute before game scratch (@Denver) knowing that he's been ducking all the top teams to feast on the Detroit's and Charlotte's. To top it off, seeing him waving at Denver fans post-game as a taunt... pathetic.

Sucks that he got hurt, though.

Paid $2400 to watch the 76ers trot out bums in Denver lol, so yes I'm mad.

Sorry that happened to you, but we just saw why he didn't play.

And bottom-feeders? The season has been going on longer than the past 3 weeks, right? As much as I'm sure Joel wishes he could, he can't control if and when he gets injured. I don't think he actively wants to miss games.

He should be playing when he's healthy enough to play and not playing when he's not. He hurt his knee the game before the Nuggets game. He was in a lot of pain and was grabbing at his knee and hobbling around.

This "Embiid ducks Jokic" comes from loser Nuggets fans who can't handle that Embiid is better than Jokic and dominates him every time they face each other, so they're desperately grasping for some counter narrative to try to prove their guy is the better player. So they'll make stuff up like he's ducking a guy who he owns every time they play one another.

No I don’t disagree that man should sit until he’s fully healed, standings be damned at this point. Better a play-in team with healthy Embiid than 3rd seed with lumping Embiid.

My “trigger” is when Twitter fingers say stuff like “fans need to get over it” (spending $$$) when there’s little to no evidence of serious injury. Like, if he had been listed as questionable the day before I’d have read the signals and tried to get back 10-20% of my price, but the 76ers played this entirely wrong. Looking back the fans were wrong - he was legitimately hurt and not ducking. But the optics just sucked.

I think the NBA deserves a healthy Embiid playoff run.

Well, you learned the first rule of following the Sixers: Don't trust the Sixers.

Luckily you don't have to be a fan of theirs.

Call the team and complain then. Quit looking for sympathy while you're trolling on the internet.

Fans have had 10+ years now to heed the warning that stars might sit ever since a young LeBron ramped up the trend after the Spurs Old 3 started it. With how bad it's gotten since 2020, idk why you'd even gamble buying tickets. More fun to watch the game overhead from a blackjack table.
