Great trad for both sides. Miami def missed Vincent and Struss scoring that they let go for free chasing Dame.

Charlotte sheds Rozier and the remaining two years he had after this season. Got a 1st for doing so as well. Can give Miller a bigger role with Melo. And have more picks to eventually throw at Brandon Ingram when he eventually asks out this summer. He’s from NC too.

Hate to say it but he's washed. Not worth the buyout imo.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Under the new CBA rules, contenders such as Phoenix, Milwaukee, Boston, and Denver cannot acquire Kyle Lowry through the buyout market, as his salary exceeds the Mid-Level Exception threshold, per @basketballtalk

And the new rules effecting 1st and 2nd apron teams begins. Clippers would be insane to pay both harden and George unless harden willing to take a major paycut again which I doubt.

While other teams are adding guards who can create and shoot, we are doing nothing.

Tiny guards who will be exploited in the playoffs.

I haven't watched a ton of Lowry lately. I assume he's cooked. I still like the idea of adding a veteran PG to this team though. And then you put your actual assets into the wing spot.

This would be a fair criticism, but definitely not warranted until after the deadline.

The only likely buyout guy I would want is Gordon Hayward, though there might be guys I’m not thinking will be bought out that might change my mind on that.

I've got a feeling our backup PG is coming....via Charlotte, more or less

I don’t think Rozier was that guard for us. But we gotta be realistic at this point. All signs are saying we aren’t trading for a star. We wanna add depth but only for the cost of 2nds

How many picks do Bucks have? They’re trying to get Dejounte

I think its gonna be Bridges. He’s gonna treat his stint for our team as an try-out for his next contract. If he ever help us win deep in the playoffs, his sins might be washed away from the eyes of the GMs.

Yea, but from an analytics standpoint, he’s not even good this year. He’s just scoring a lot on a trash team. Is it worth the headache?

I dont read any news about Bridges being a headache with his team. He’s charged with probation with no jail time. He’s a low risk and high reward player for us right now.

Stats wise, he’s been a top 100 RAPM player. efficient scorer in his last 3 seasons and is more of an average defender that can be a good rebounder who can block shots. He might be our “aaron gordon” who can shoot, finish and maybe defend wings.

We can also save draft capital and just sign Kevin Porter Jr too. I think the Rockets guys like him.

Good add for Miami getting Rozier. He'll cook us if we face him in the playoffs. Just like he did in 2018.

We’re out of the small guard business because we had a late first round pick develop into an all star. Take that as a positive or negative.

Solid trade for the heat but it’s good for us in that we probably weren’t going to trade for him so better the heat trade for him instead of someone we were in on.

People worrying about Terry Rozier.

I get hating this team, let's just put some sort of a limit on it.

I think Bojan is probably the biggest name the Sixers could acquire without severely limiting what they plan to have available in the summer. And even he might be too expensive as a target. Prices at the deadline are so prohibitive, I wouldn't be surprised if they stand pat again.
