Idc. Anytime the game is out of reach he shouldn't be on the floor. He's as injury prone as they come.

Yea, but HE doesn’t care what anyone thinks; he wants the streak.

The lineup out there was so bad offensively. I get going all in on defense but you have to have another guy to help Joel offensively.

Brutal. I look forward to national games to get away from Kate and Alaa and we are stuck with these two. It's gotten to the point where I'm hoping for Stan Van Gundy. At least he's entertaining at times.

If Embiid was healthy enough to stay in the game to chase 30 points, then he better be out there Tomorrow.

That streak should have ended today. He had an awful match and should have been taken off when they were being blown off the court. Cannot be rewarded for a bad match, especially with his bad ankle. Blatant stat chasing. Not a good look.

He will miss the game for sure. Not a good look.

One of those games. The Sixers worked their asses off defensively in the 3rd and couldn't get a thing to drop, then the roof caved in. There was never any flow or rhythm all night, and the Knicks are a pretty scrappy bunch. I'd take Brunson and Hart on my team any day.

I have to say, keeping Embiid in the game down 30 and on a bum ankle to keep this silly record going is pathetic. What value is a record when you're getting it half the time in garbage time? I suppose because the record book just shows the numbers, not how they were reached.

There schedule has been easy but lets not exaggerate. They have played Boston three times, Milwaukee on the road, Minnesota 2x, OKC on the road, and lost a few heart breakers at home to good teams like Cleveland and Indiana. The only games that have really bothered me are the home loss to Chicago and the home loss to the Knicks tonight. Putrid efforts in both cases. They need more scoring. They rely too much on Embiid and Maxey. There are some decent options out there I would be looking at both the Bogey's and Lavine. I don't see Lavine's ball dominance as a proglem at all Maxey and him could be on the court seperately for like 15 minutes a game. What worries me about Lavine is his bad knees. Derozan could be an option also along with another three point shooter or two since Derozan doesnt make threes.

Would Sixers have won if we, instead of the Knicks, had OG Anunoby instead?

Undoubtedly more options would have been available to him. Either this team changes, and Morey "moves the tree" or they fear even getting past the first round of the playoffs.
For me Mikal Bridges and Caruso would be a huge leap for the team. With them I would stop looking at certain rivals with as many complexes as I do now.

Knicks are a dangerous team after this trade. Essentially they're a good defense, that can play a style that leads to what happened in the first quarter

Essentially they got rid of 2 guys that prefer to dribble instead of being quick finishers, or with RJ lacks the ability to be effective that way. Allowing their 2 best shot creators to have an open floor and several finishers around them. Kinda like Indiana, except NYKs stars are looking to score with that style.

Pretty bad loss. Bad body language when we went down by 15,16 points. Then, missing some easy shots, forcing things, and you can't crawl back.
The positives I saw was that Maxey kept being aggressive. But, the Knicks are a good team, especially now with OG. They played a great defense against Embiid and we missed our shots. Even when we cut the lead down to 12, we had 3-4 possessions to close it even further at the end of the 3rd, but missed all those opportunities. You could just sense that it wasn't our night.

Low key wishing that Embiid's streak ends so we can start focusing on our game plan again and to win games.

Bench points: 15 vs 44
Yet people talking about a 3rd man, as if that's the reason we lost today.

Oh and Embiid showing how little he cares about winning, he only cares about his stats.

No.

This game was won on a massive 3 point disparity.

They looked pretty damn good at the start of the game. And then McBride came in at the end of the 1st, hit like 4 straight 3s, and it went downhill fast.

18-41 vs 6-23 from 3. Unless you're playing an absolutely awful team, that's a pretty surefire loss.

The Knicks made 18 threes and we only made 6. That's all this was.

Maybe the guys outside Maxey and Embiid should not just be 3pt shooters. Make some baskets in the paint and get the defense set will put more pressure on their shooters
