That was an ugly performance

Esp needing 50 from Joel and a half court heave from Maxey

Can NN work on team defense?

Batum played -33mins
Morris -14mins
Cov-4mins

Batum was slow footed on defense all game and Morris didn't give much of anything.
Take 5mins away from both and give to Cov(14mins) and I think he could of disrupted some of those easy baskets the wizards got all game

Hey we won. I missed the game. Hate that too. I see that Jo dropped 50.

Inexcusable performance from Tobias. 1 friggin 3 attempt? Really?

They need more offense, which is why I keep rooting for a 3rd star. We'll see, but I know Maxey is capable of more defensively, and clearly Joel is. But, I can't get mad at them when they have to do so much offensively. The amount of off the ball attention both of them get, another guy that could make plays would really be able to cook

Him and Tobi aren't really doing much

Been that way even for the Clips.

Batum can pass and handle a bit, very lacking skills on the Sixers.

Bigger question is why is Marcus Morris playing over Covington or half a dozen other players?

Embiid likes to be paired with Maxey. So we’re missing a shot taker “grenade launcher” when Maxey and Biid are off the court.

Either that or NN reminds Morris of Precious Achiuwa

We’re feeding Embiid to get his 50. Like one of those games against Cody Zeller

That and he’s struggling.

He's the problem with the 3pt volume almost single handedly. Shoot more, no complaints on his efficiency.

What did Springer do to get benched? Are we trying to up someone’s value to trade them? Or is he that bad?

He got sick and Pat Bev had a massive performance against the Celtics. I imagine it’s more other players showing up than anything

I just think this was more of a Springer/Cov game than a full on reserve Pat /Morris game. Better defense and athleticism was needed against a team like wiz who want to get up and down the floor.

I get that Pat and Morris had good games against the Celtics but so did Cov and while Springer is still raw he need to be on the floor to get better .
I know NN has his hands full with everyone finally back and so much depth on the wings. I just hope this isn't the case of I'm just going to play the vets because they are vets and need less coaching while on the floor.

It's this game. I watched until the half and shut it off, just a dull going through the motions game against an awful team. Figured the Sixers would wake up and win comfortably, but the sleepwalking continued until the 4th, evidently. Is this the quietest 50 point game ever?

Combine rust with hot shooting from Poole and Kispert and that's why it got close last night. Keep in mind Washington has played some teams tough this year. They gave Boston and Miami all they could handle earlier in the year.
