Really don't get Maxey, tons of times he could have shot a three or did his step back. Gets someone one on one, and then just passes it. Never seen him play like that, he was playing like a rookie. Wonder if something was up, or he's hurt.

Nice bounce back win. Not having to deal with Hunter for the second half definitely helped, but we have key players missing too.

That's a straight up dog **** lineup, that requires him to do a lot, with no one who can pass, shoot, or make a shot. Doesn't excuse his performance, but I wouldn't be happy either.

Honestly, Me too. Pat Bev cant shoot. Once pass to Morris for entry pass, Morris would turn it over

On the bright side, Gary Payton was a turrible offensive player his first couple years. Then he became a two-way superstar.

it felt like one of those last year Tobias games in which his stats look good but it didn't feel impactful.

He's starting to look a little tired to me...

Plus I think he has to adjust to new defensive schemes

Springer starts hesitating from 3PT after a bad miss. Still tries to make himself useful with hard cuts to the rim and crashing the o-boards which is a good sign.

Next step - learn from RoCo and Oubre how to jack 3's with zero conscience.

Teams are doubling Maxey and playing him differently on the PnR, I like that he was trusting his teammates and not forcing things.

Nurse mentioned after the last game that he might need to switch up bench lineups with Jo. Maxey stayed out there, but they still had Tobi and Melton to run with Reed.

I’m really not looking to dump Tobi if we can build more and retain him next summer I would be with that.

Imagine OG playing that Springer role.

Makes you wonder if we need Lavine, given Maxey’s level of shot creating ability and Biid’s unreliable ball handling in high pressure situations. I’d rather roll the dice with Maxey and Biid.
