We don't even have to watch as his shot declines during the season / contract. He's already told us who he is. It's Fultz all over again. Sign him up Morey.

Who could have seen this coming? Also, if I'm a journeywoman in the WNBA, screw it, I'm pulling a Jontay. They don't pay me enough to care about the integrity.

The NBA knew this was someday a player would get caught gambling. They are just thankful it was a no name player like Johntay Porter so they could throw the book at him.

I don't really see the hypocrisy in allowing gambling on your game but not allowing it in your game. On the contrary, it's absolutely necessary to take a hardline position on the latter if you're going to allow the former.

That said, sports gambling is cringe and advertising it is doubly cringe. Brought to you by Draft Kings.

Adam Silver is such a piece of garbage, but then again so is every pro sports league administration. They've whored themselves out to gambling, which essentially runs pro and big time college sports now, and yet Silver is going to lecture about "integrity".

Feels like Butler is done based on his post game comments. That's a shame. They probably won't beat the Bulls without Butler and Rozier.

He died for all the players’ sins.

Tinfoil hat: Silver wanted to get ahead of this issue and offered Jontay a bag to fall on the sword since Jontay didn’t have a realistic longterm career in the NBA.

I also think so. Maybe even riding the same wave with Ohtani of MLB, whereas this news wouldnt affect so much on the integrity of the league because its being shadowed by Ohtani’s scandal.

Imagine what could have happened if this didn't occur and rumors of players point-shaving games started to creep up.

The Heat is playing a "do or die" game and the arena looks like a Pelicans game in January.

Too much "culture" i guess

Super happy that Boston has to play Miami. It will give Spo at least 4 games to expose some weaknesses that the rest of the East can use in later rounds.

Jimmy is likely to return 05/15 onwards. Rozier has a good chance to return as soon as G1.

The Kings franchise transitioned from trying to emulate the Warriors to aiming to defeat them. However, this pursuit has diverted their focus from the ultimate goal: winning the championship. The dynamics of the game have shifted, with teams boasting larger and more skilled players in the 4-5 positions. Sabonis at the 5 may not suffice for their ambitions; while effective against the Warriors' frontcourt of Looney and Draymond, its effectiveness is limited beyond that matchup.

Considering the current trend, the favorites are unlikely to win the championship. The league seems to favor unpredictability, such as the Pacers winning the in-season tournament or the prevalence of injuries, leaving fans uncertain about players' health or availability.

The league wants it that way until there’s a clear face of the franchise. Whether it’s Lebron and Curry back then. To likely Wemby in the future

I think Dallas looks tremendous, and is a clear threat to Denver. They have size, can and are successfully playing double big with Washington + Gafford or Lively. Have 2 good perimeter defenders in Exum and Jones.... And 2 nuclear weapons. That would be a big finals with Boston if the NBA plays it right.

Luka vs Tatum.
