This is the kind of basketball team the Lakers have evolved into, I seriously think they're back in business.

Remember that player, Kobe said SHOULD'VE been traded for Jason Kidd(and they still wouldn't have made it as far as the first round :D)

Well now Andrew Bynum is dominating. This isn't just Sam, it's damn near every center in the league that is being dominated by fluid, sweet offensive moves, great defensive intensity, ETC.

If the Lakers(and I think they will) reach the NBA finals, it's because how Andrew Bynum is the best center in the west.

Man what a downer. I love it when the Lakers win but Just wish it was a close game. Makes it more entertaining.

Why is Louis not looking to score?

Because you'd need a wrench to get the ball out of Ollie's hands at the moment

and Lou doesn't have one

The one positive out of this game is Thad Young

And a rookie playing 20 minutes just became our leading scorer and rebounder on the game :noway:

We do remember that player, which is not the player we have now :D

What was going on with the team? Judging based on the box score they were flat out terrible in the defense. I cannot remember any game where the opponents shot 66% from the field. That is pathetic.

Gladly, our two rookies appeared to have a nice game (when the game was already decided).

Whenever this team is intimidated and settles for jumpers they get emasculated. Not to mention, we gave up lay-up s on every play.

This game was just like our horrible losses against the Rockets and Orlando last year. We take jumpers and let them get layups (because Sam won't leave Bynum because he has been embarrassed enough by all of his points.)

How a team gives up 70% FG shooting midway through the 3rd quarter... we surrendered the paint on both ends and played like frightened children.

Other than that they were great. Garbage time was fine- and Young shows a nose for the ball in the paint, but no handle or sense in the open court. Maybe he'll learn to handle the ball better than Carney in a couple of years.

Iggy pulled yet another disappearing act. Iggy didn't show up to play and he didn't even have to guard Kobe. You can't count on Iggy to be there for you every game just like I always believed. Iggy pulled the covers over people's eyes the last few games and had them drinking the kool-aid and eating the tasty cakes.

This team is too darn inconsistent. If we play like this more often than maybe we can start thinking about Beasley or Rose.

In all seriousness, this team shouldn't really be in playoff contention and I would value a higher draft pick more than the 8th seed and a sweep by the Celtics of Pistons.
