I couldn't believe SEC coaches voted him preseason all SEC 1st team. Bad defense and no shooting threat. Lowkey hurts ya'll on both ends.

You excited for a healthy C.J. Fredrick? Possibly the most lights out shooter in the country. Should be an automatic assist for whoever passes to him.

You want to talk about flamethrowers, Fredrick and Reeves let the ball fly. That's intriguing by NBA standards, but in the excruciatingly boring college level, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Both aren't real defensive players but they should have some huge scoring games.

I don't know much about Reeves, but I'm wondering how consistent his jumpshot is. Looks like he shot really well during his junior year breakout but was an automatic brick during his underclassmen years.

Is the vibe around the program that they expect him to be used as a shooter?

Seems to be the deal in the preseason games.

What do you think about people saying they're already out on Chris Livingston because of the way his legs look when he runs?

I'm curious to see what Harrison Ingram looks like this year. Looked like an NBA caliber playmaker right away, but nothing else was there. No defense, no shooting, and not a lot in the scoring arsenal.

Looking forward to the aircraft carrier game between Michigan State and Gonzaga.

Anybody see any interesting prospects on either of these teams?

I think Gonzaga's Malachi Smith is interesting. Some nice shooting, on-ball defense, and secondary playmaking. Listed at 6'4" 210.

The biggest freshman sleeper in the country might be Taylor Hendricks from UCF.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/taylor-hendricks-1.html

- 6'9" 210 pounds
- 19 ppg (44.4% from three on 2 makes per game)
- 13.7% rebounding
- 5.1% block

Looking forward to getting my first glance at Cason Wallace tonight.

Especially since he has those bombers to create plays for.

I think Cal figured it out. Hit the transfer portal hard and get the best shooters you can get. If CJ Fredrick didn't get hurt last year, he and Kellan Grady would have been as awesome as he and Antonio Reeves have been this year.

I actually watched the carrier ship game. Michigan State has a lot of talent. Tom Izzo's system is just super oppressive and guys have trouble standing out.

Reeves is def a Malik Beasley type. Doesn't have the frame to really be a star at the next level. Big role player energy.

To be honest, this entire Kentucky team doesn't have anyone that screams an NBA "star". Perhaps Daimion Collins. Wallace feels like a Maxey with a nicer form but less burst. Very early and I could be completely off with him, but I see a nice 2-way player so far but not an elite PG yet.

Fredrick is cold tonight but has an outside chance of being a role player in the NBA if his shooting is truly elite.

Oscar is going to be a great role player on a championship team. Elite energy and rebounding while not being completely worthless on offense (best drop step in the NCAA right now).

Alright, the way Wallace is brutalizing them on defense, I can see a Jrue Holiday comp.

Wallace on-ball defense is nasty. Definitely has some Jrue to his game.

These stretches right now where he's playing SG with Wheeler on the court will be telling. If he can establish some jumpshot ability, he'll be golden.

Wheeler is like a not-a-penny-to-his-name homeless Darren Collison to Wallace's Jrue. It's very frustrating to watch his predictability on offense.

I'm excited that this is the last year of Wheeler and next year Dajuan Wagner Jr will be an excellent palate cleanser.

Hauser is interesting. He's got great size, can rebound, can playmake a bit for a F, and he can shoot. I could see him being a late 2nd rounder.

Oscar shooting that midrange jumper there was a terrible shot. Hope it doesn't cost them the game.

Wallace is a gamer. That was nasty. And saved us the game after Mich State clearly exploited the Wheeler matchup. I would have given him the JJ Redick treatment and buried him in the post with the biggest guard I have if I were Izzo. He's like 5'8.
