Easily the biggest win of the year thus far. We played like crap for most of the game but still found a way to pull it off. Yup, the drops by KC definitely helped but sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Bring on the Bills.

Eagles have waived Derek Barnett after 6+ seasons per Adam Schefter. I'm thankful for his contributions especially with the fumble recovery in Super Bowl 52 but with his history of injuries and boneheaded penalties, this move was a long time coming. Looking forward to seeing Nolan Smith get more snaps.

Hopefully they use the open roster spot to sign Shaq Leonard. Obviously he's not the same player he was a few years ago, but it's worth taking a shot on him for depth purposes at LB.

feels like the Horford Sixers....the record was good but something feels off.

Unless they whoop Dallas next week, there's nothing left to see here. The offense is too sporadic and the defense is below average. Corners got old fast and they have no linebackers to speak of.

Everyone we’ve been playing has been on extra rest for weeks now and Goedert missing has hamstrung the offense in both pass and run game. And we won a game in that stretch without Lane. That’s amazing and I think this team is better than the fanbase thinks right now. We might have to make a run from the 5 seed so that stinks but I think we will be fine.

We were due for a stinker. Hopefully this is a one off and a wake-up call rather than a long-term trend. The fact that we had to settle for FGs rather than TDs during our first two drives was a huge momentum swing in their favor and they took full advantage.

Obviously the defense sucked but the offense did them no favors by not sustaining drives which forced them to remain on the field too long which contributed to them getting picked apart by the Niners offense from the second quarter on. Hopefully we'll be better prepared if we play them again in January.

That said, regardless Howie is really gonna have to address the secondary and LB positions in the offseason. Bring on the Cowpokes.

Defense is suspect both as a unit (they give up too many yards and 3rd down completions) and in the middle (the LBs are atrocious).
Offense is boring and almost vanilla.

We're a worse team than last year, definetely.
We could easly lose 3 of the next 5.
But in the playoff we could win and lose with everybody

So there is still hope but I dont feel as good as last year.

FWIW we did sign Shaq Leonard and while he certainly isn't the Pro Bowl player he was a few years ago, he can't be any worse than what we already have at LB, can he?

More than this single loss, which is not too predictive, our inability to blow anyone out makes me believe this years team is just one of the teams in the mix to win the conference.

Last years SB was emotionally devastating because everything the team showed all year long and in the playoffs was that is was one of the great teams in NFL history (until it wasn't). I won't be nearly as disappointed in a loss this year because good teams lose in the playoffs all the time. We are just one of several good teams in the league this year.

I'm a Dolphins fan, but I definitely keep up with the Eagles. Only time I root against them is when they play Miami and even then, losing to them doesn't hurt that bad.
I think the Eagles have it where it matters the most and that is in the trenches. That's honestly where they whooped Miami earlier in the season. I think San Fran came in motivated and took it from them. Philly is still my pick to go to the Super Bowl. Just a bad loss and that happens.
