- If Bamba plays like this again, I’m gonna waive him and sign Kai Jones. That effort from him on defense is awful.
- There was no flow with the offense in the third quarter. Guys weren’t setting screens and driving with a purpose.
- We run a small ball 5 with 3 guards (maxey, melton and Springer) then we had Tobi and Tucker at 4&5. Celts just matched the speed with size by running a similar 3 guard unit but with Al and Porzingis.

I think this team might be pretty damn good. James is an idiot to want to leave, but I doubt he'll buy in and play the right way and I wholly think they can be just as good without James at all.

Springer looks like a real player. Slashing ability, a quick trigger 3, and real defensive ability.

Maxey looks much more comfortable going left when given the opportunity in half court situations, one on one or setting up screens. Good sign. This guy looks like Joel's own Lillard out here. This team will be fine. He has all the skillset he really needs at 22. Just needs the right mindset. He can be a go to guy.

Oubre is the signing that made me believe in this season regardless.

Melton has more to give if given the opportunity offensively. I would like him as a starter.

Sixers backup bigs still suck, what's new? They'll be fine though

The poor play from center these first two games is a good demonstration of Harden’s value. No more spoon-fed easy baskets anymore.

Even Morey isn't dumb enough to max out Oubre, regardless of his stats.

He is the best wing option the team currently has, however, even with his boneheadedness.

This is the Nurse way though. FVV / Siakam etc leading the league in minutes and were burnt out by the time the playoffs move around.

Good thing Maxey seems like he has unlimited stamina.

I think they’re probably just giving Maxey extra preseason reps as the lead ball handler in a new offense. I’m not really worried about the Nurse minutes thing.

Trust me, that was always my big concern with Nurse, but was just not sure if someone was implying he had played guys more than forty minutes in a single preseason game.
