If CHA is in on Herro, they should have some interest in Harden.

CHA gets Harden and Tucker
PHI gets Kai Jones, Bouknight, and Hayward

Sixers duck the tax and get a couple young guys who have varying levels of promise as well as a "win now wing" in lieu of picks. They also move off Tucker's salary next year.

I don't think they'll be interested in a notorious ballhog like Soften who takes the ball out of Lamelo's hands. Herro can play off the ball and is therefore a better fit for CHA.

LaMelo initiates, Harden finishes.

That makes the Sixers an even worse rebounding team, if that's possible.

Also: Harden, Tucker, Harris, Springer, a 1st, and a swap for two mostly washed Clipper expirings and the bad long term contracts of Simons and Grant is a fast way to get fired.

Sixers out: Harden, Tucker, Korkmaz and 2029 lotto protected 1st
Sixers in: Holiday, Covington and Coffey

Clippers out: Bones, Covington, Batum, Morris, Coffey, 2028 lotto protected 1st
Clippers in: Harden and Tucker

Blazers out: Holiday
Blazers in: Bones, Morris, Batum, Korkmaz, 2028 & 2029 lotto protected 1st’s from Phil and LAC

Holiday/Pat Bev/Springer
Maxey/Melton/House
Tobi/Oubre/Coffey
Reed/Covington/Filip
Jo/Bamba/Harrell

I think this is about the best we can hope for out of the rest of this off season? Obviously having to give up the pick rather than getting more back in this Harden fiasco is pretty devastating, but if we could get above average starter play out of the combo of Reed/Oubre that team could actually be pretty good. Very well balanced. But if the team fails again I would not let Morey rebuild the team in the off season with the cap space we’d have. The franchise is in undeniably worse shape since he’s taken over.

Spoiler:

Let the good times roll.

I didnt realize how much a Maxey+Tobi for Wolves makes sense until I saw this.

Simons is a bad contract, but can score. Definitely not a SF. I would do this trade and work on flipping him immediately.

Pass for POR. No interest in Bones or Kirkmaz.

Alright, how about:

Dan House for Shaedon Sharpe

I know, I know. Sharpe is a bust and we don't want to take on salary. But hear me out: I think he could be a quality 8th man.

Portland gets off his deal and gets a stud 3+D wing to pair with franchise player DeAndre Ayton.

Shaedon is too young to be considered a bust. Also was taking off once he was starting and given the green light. He’s going to be way more expensive than House.

Wasn't a real proposal. Was just trying to tweak our resident blazers fan

Who are the starting 5 if Harden doesn't actually show up?

Maxey Beverly
Melton Springer Smith
Oubre Green Korkmaz
Harris Reed
Embiid Bamba

Trade: Harden Tucker House
What's the over-under on these 3 getting traded by next week?

I see no chance on all three getting traded before the season starts. I’ll say 50/50 one of them gets traded before game 1.
