SOUL Retires as Magic Forum Moderator

I would like to formally announce the retirement of a moderator who has served our great Orlando Magic community well for many years.

My dear friend, and for a VERY brief limited time only podcast partner , SOUL has decided to retire. While it is a shame to see SOUL step away from trying to control you maniacs, he's still going to stick around the forum as one of the best posters we have.

I thank him for his great service these past couple of years and look forward greatly to the next time we can rock gaudy Magic jackets at Madison Square Garden or Barclays (we're both Northeast based at this point).

He will soon have Howard bestow him the title of "Retired Mod" to honor the service he has given RealGM as a Moderator.

Somehow I missed this despite being active today. Thanks a lot, y'all!

I actually originally retired in 2019, I even forgot that I did that. Came back for the playoffs... and stayed on board until we reached the playoffs again.

Will definitely still be active. Perhaps not as much, but definitely still around. Have a lot of stuff happening IRL work wise that I didn't want getting in the way of being on RealGM way too much (or vice versa? ) ... maybe I'll even find time to podcast some Magic thoughts again. Even could re-join the mod staff once things calm down, but don't anticipate that for at the very least a few years.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the kind words! And even if we've butted heads and called each other idiots (implied or explicitly) in the name of Magic sports opinions or I've suspended you (in davey's case lol), I've never held any grudges, and we all make up this dysfunctional ass Magic board we enjoy posting on.

Now excuse me while I turn into eyriq and push my agenda for whoever our next draft pick is
