we should. Ingles is cooked, use it on someone like Da Silva. could backup SF/PF.

Da Silva is propably gone before we pick. Pelicans, 76ers and Heat just before us.

Terrence Shannon Jr looks like he could be a solid backup wing out of the gate

Hopefully he has a good lawyer though

I dont think Caleb will stay long term, but i would not be surprised if Jett took Ingles minutes.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

We can't go wrong, Carter or da Silva should be available when we pick
Draft Carter
Sign monk
Trade Cole for a forward
Let chuma+fultz go
Offer Harris and goga a 1+1 deal

unleash Jett next seaon

Go Magic

Suggs, AB, Carter
Monk, Jett, Harris
Franz, Jett, Houstan
Paolo, Moe, (Cole trade)
Wcj, JI, goga

I like both those guys and a few others who could drop a slot or two into our area...I was disregarding this draft in hopes of a trade, but there are some decent looking prospects for us there.

i still would want Sears for us as a backup/3rd PG. he could be a great 2nd round pick

trade the pick for Malcolm Brogdon. No need for a pick this year in a weak draft at 18. I like a few guys but lets be real we do not have the room on the roster and we are young enough. Malcolm makes a lot of sense for what we need. 1 year left on his deal too.

Brogdon's a great basketball fit...but his salary is 22.5, which is just slightly less than Simons and, I think, slightly more than Monk will cost. I'd prefer the younger, healthier, locked-up, long term fit, if that option is available. The injury history isn't good either.

There's a lot of things I'd like less than Brogdon...but there are better directions, imo.

nope. use the pick on Da Silva, as Ingles is cooked and we could use a backup SF/PF. and Brogdon just cannot stay healthy

Just wanna say... whoever you wanna pick, you sure that guy can play over Black and Jett?

Only way that happens is if the guy we pick play a different position like a C

ORL could use some grit. Trade for Murray and draft Shannon...all kidding aside, that'd be an awesome summer.

The Jail Blazers were the lowest point in franchise history. The FO has avoided greasy players since then.

Hope ORL never sinks that low.

No, that was the lowest point.

Just as bad record wise and no high end young talent.

We drafted Aldridge, Roy and Rodriguez at the end of that season and that shameful episode came to an end.

Furphy would be interesting. He's 6'9" from Australia like Ingles. If we kept Ingles for another year, he could train Furphy.
