This is very interesting development for Hawks.
Now they have 1# pick and ability to probably draft Risacher. Does that mean they will trade Hunter?

I will poke my eyes off if Hawks are dumb enough to draft Sarr and plug & play same roster .

By default, if Sarr isn't picked, i expect Wizards to pick him up.

Congratulations to Pistons , setting record with most losses in a row just to draft 5th in somewhat crappy draft

Can we somehow flip our pick + young player for Sheppard?

For me he is too small and unathletic to bother.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Who is young player? :D

Ron Holland reminds me of Jalen Brown! His shot is improving too

What would you give up to pair Booker with Paolo?

Not unless they absolutely have to have the money for somebody on a big short-term deal like Klay.

I 100% agree here. Ingles fit well in the locker room. And what's 10M these days anyways?

I can't imagine being a Pistons fan. To have gone through that season and end up with Mr. #5. Ouch.

The Ingles team option decision is going to be such a tell.

If they decline it, they're almost assuredly going to spend significant dollars right after that.

If they pick it up, the odds of a huge money signing drop significantly.

Im a fan of Brown, especially his physicality - he really manhandled Franz...but, he's even less of an offensive creator/distributor than Suggs...I'd say we look elsewhere, particularly in light of that contract (not to say BOS is offering).

Booker'd be great, but it would take a teardown in PHX, largely picks going back...there's very few guys, if any, that I would disassemble our young group to get...I also don't know that our best move is to bring a guy that will dominate - we might be ready for significant guys that aren't necessarily bigger better than Paolo or Franz.

Here's another route the FO could go. Keep WCJ move Cole + 18 for a cleaner wing. Sign Monk, D'Anthony Melton and another smaller FA. Melton screams like a FO signing for us, dude is a + wingspan, defensive hustler, capable shooter and knows playoff ball.

Monk/Melton
Suggs/Black
Franz/FA/Jett
Paolo/Isaac
WCJ/MWagner

Depper Bench - trade piece from moving Cole, Ingles, Houstan.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

One guy I don't want to leave out of ORL summer consideration is Jaden Ivey...he's had some rough days and overall inefficiency, but consider how early he was thrown into the fire, with Cade out his rookie year (especially compared to our bubble-wrapped rookies). He's super athletic, coach's kid, combo guard, has shown that he can knock down 6 or 7 threes and score 35+ on a given night...kind of what we're looking for and maybe a very premature sell-low by DET, who really shouldn't have drafted him right after Cade (but he was clear BPA after SAC passed) and has since added Sasser...Not sure what it'd take, but I'd assume DET would value picks and prospects a lot more than a contending team. Ivey's numbers aren't too far off of Monk's and that's not even considering how long it took Monk to start cooking in his career. Ivey on a rookie deal too. An Ivey/Monk debate has some merit. Both teams have a lot of cap space, so there could be any number of variations.

How about...
ORL sends: Jett Howard (Michigan prospect with promise of much needed floor spacing), DEN 25 frp
DET sends: Jaden Ivey

Let's say DET picks Donovan Clingan to be their Center...
ORL sends: Jett Howard, Cole Anthony, ORL 25 frp, DEN 25 frp
DET sends: Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren

They probably prefer:
Jett, WCJ, frp...WCJ could mentor and also play the 4, spread the floor and he's still young.
for Ivey, Duren
I'd prefer to keep WCJ, but I would pull the trigger if needed.

I have similar feelings to Skybox. I treat Suggs as our version of Brown.

Not a bad idea, he looks like a streaky 3 point shooter and he’s young.
