Really hoping game 1 is a sign of things to come for Donte this series.

This is a series he should do well in, their defense isn't great and they play at a fast pace, plus they don't have any speedy guards or big wings that can score to hunt him with

[Context]

It didn’t look too good last game but I think the Knicks are going to figure out the Pacers’ strategies as the series goes on. They learn pretty well from their mistakes, whether it’s Brunson recovering from G1 and G2 vs Philly or the Knicks bouncing back after throwing Game 5 at the end.

The part people maybe aren’t used to seeing is that we have the only legit Playoff closer in this series.

Siakam has flashes of brilliance, but with OG guarding him Siakam has very little chance of out dueling Brunson down the stretch.

Hats off to the Indy role players for playing out of their minds, but that’s not how Playoff basketball works. The best player wins the game in the end. It’s always been this way and it’s why we lost to MJ, Hakeem, and Tim Duncan.

Thing is — we have the best player in this series or any series until the Finals.

Look who’s left:

3) Ant
4) SGA
5) Brunson
6) Tatum

The best players in the league make it to the very end. You really expect Siakam to keep pace with us in the 4Q?

Ant for me is the only threat at this point. I pick Minny to beat Denver this is why I'havent included the Joker...Regardless,

The 2 bail out calls Indi got the last 3 seconds of the shot clock??(RIDICULOUS calls) they threw their best punch, got the game into the 120’s and still couldn’t win, going to smoke these guys game 2

If you ever wondered why the national media is so divisive against the Knicks, look no further than half the country somehow thinking Reggie Miller is a good announcer and insurance/fast food pitchman.

I’m clearly out of touch because for the life of me I can’t understand how anyone could stand listening/seeing him.

FWIW I met Reggie once courtside at the Gaeden and asked if he would FaceTime briefly with my dad who was literally on his death bed watching the game at a Manhattan hospital. His partner Kevin Harlan was gracious, said hi to my dad and sent well wishes. Reggie didn’t just say no, he flat out ignored me and refused to acknowledge my presence or my dad on FaceTime (literally a dying man in the hospital a couple miles away). He heard the entire convo with Harlan and pretended it wasn’t happening. World class d-bag.

Jesus Christ. What a tool. Now I really don't like him. It costs nothing to be kind and empathetic to someone for like 1 to 2 mins. I'm sorry man.

Glad to hear that Kevin Harlan is a class act though. I always liked him, I put him in my favorite commentators list along with Breen and Eagle.

Im going to try to not complain about the minutes anymore.

It may catch up to us at some point, but Thibs always treats each game like game 7 of the finals for better or worse, and it’s even more apparent in the playoffs. He’s not going to change now.

Getting to the next round would be a major achievement itself. Anything after is playing with house money, although I’ll never doubt this team going all the damn way.

atleast these guys are young and conditioned for it...

they're not that good of a team. their "star" is soft and the rest of the team is "okayish". I expect iHart to have a much better game in this one, too. we didn't dominate the boards - I don't see that happening two games in a row.

I didnt enjoy game 6 in Philly because I allowed myself to go deep in the rabbit hole of the nba's control of game outcomes...
I was convinced that we were going to game 7...
you have to realize that no matter the outcome for US(the knicks) the haters will always find an angle to discredit us...
