tbh, after their season end, we learn whats wrong with him. i bet there is some serious injury. you don't go from all nba first caliber to a regular single digit scorer overnight.

I feel really good about this win! I'm a big believer in history and history says the team that wins the first game between these 2 teams goes on to win the series 100% of the time! That rings true especially for us as I cannot remember the last time, if ever, we went on to win a playoff series after losing game 1 at home!

Is Brunson the second coming of Michael Jordan? Cause only Jordan has done 40 plus in 4 straight playoff games! This is just insanity! Such a great sign to see him hit all his FT's too! And is Hart the second coming of Rodman? Is he taking HGH? How else can we explain a guy playing all 48 minutes again and playing with such a relentless motor and energy? Hart is a freak!! And DVo shutting down Haliburton, after he pretty much shutdown Maxey in game 6, and hitting another clutch game winning 3 in the playoffs. The Villanova trio is just GREAT!

Thank you Carlisle for not playing that little twerp McConnell for most of the 4th! Thank you Zarba for making the right calls! Although I do think you swallow the whistle late in games but Turner's pick on DVo was too obvious.

Not a perfect game but that's ok. A win is a win! Especially in the playoffs! Have to take better care of the ball, limit McConnell and find a better overall answer defensively cause 117 points on 52/39/79 is not good enough.

And kudos to the board for their behavior during the game thread. We still have the 3 or 4 usual crybabies who give up at the slightest bit of adversity but for the most part everyone was level headed.

MJ and JB are very different players with very different styles. I'm not sure whether Bruson's herky-jerky, unique style can even be imitated by most players. He seems to make it up as he goes, and that requires incredible awareness of not only his own body but the positions of others. It may not be as visually appealing, but if we're just looking at how effective he can be, that's a different story.

Last possession of the game for Indiana 10.7 seconds left in the game. Watch the moving screen that Miles sets on Divo top of your screen. He absolutely mauls him and is moving the entire time. Looks like he even puts his forearm out. Should have been another offensive foul called on him and the refs completely missed it.

I need to reinforce this because some of my knick family gets caught up into the "knicks stole a game" narrative..

Siakim dropped 36&37 on the bucks...I think OG did a good job on him- was it his best job- we'll find out KG

Yeah was just pointing out that in the last few, Siakam made a tough shot over OG so it could have been four good defensive plays.

He's sort of off and on with his offense but that's okay.

where are all the ring chasing vets of yesteryear ? is it an outdated concept ? is the modern game too fast for them to be useful anymore ?

you would think a team like the suns that had ample playing time would have got some and they got nobody.

besides lowry, did anyone add anyone significant for the playoffs ? the heat got kevin love last year. who else was out there ?

That dastardly Lowry should have come here. I guess he got to start there but he'd still be playing here.

The new CBA with the 2nd apron changed a lot of the ring chasers on the minimum stuff since teams at that apron couldn’t sign anyone, didn’t see too much on the buyout front like most years either probably for that same reason

Haliburton is a very good player.

Only thing we don't know is how he performs when there are actual expectations.

There were non in SAC, and no one was really expecting Indy to compete just yet.

I was totally surprised by his calm attitude and positivity towards Brun and the team. My only knowledge of him is from his on court play and his loss of control at times. He comes across as a very astute analyst of the first game and his prediction for this series and the next are credible.

Is this the say Dray we all know and love, or is this an AI Dray?

I totally forgot that they said on the broadcast that Halliburton came back early from injury to make sure he qualified all nba. I don’t even think he’s going to make it now either. Wonder if he regrets that decision or not.
