Brunson just does not have a #2 guy on offense to rely on consistently. It was eventually going to bite us in the playoffs despite fans thinking Hart or somebody else would always keep hitting crazy shots above their skill level.

It's not about crowing him, we are no more capable of shutting him down than they are of doing it to Brunson. He is an elite scorer that can hit Lillard range threes and has DeAron Fox speed. For all intents and purposes he is unguardable to us and has proven that in the 5 games. The problem the Sixers present for us is that if Embiid doesn't have it on that night they can fall back on just going to Maxey, if Embiid does have it going then we're not winning if they're both playing well. We have made the decision to try and contain Embiid with doubles, and that means Maxey is going to cook.

off the top of my head we held him to 25 points in one game...and hes not on Brunsons level- Brunson is 4th in the league...Maxey is 11th...Brunson doesnt have Embiid while Maxey does...We can stop both of them - you remember what happened when embiid clocked Brunson and he got pissed off...our issue is locking in all the time- thats the difference between being elite and good...

We can argue about who has what and how easy that translates later on, right now he's matching our best players production.
