I think we'll be way more physical this time around. It won't be over the top, but we're going to let Philly know we're not above living in the gray area with our physicality.

From the Athletic

"Embiid was assessed the flagrant and surprisingly not ejected from the game. If most other players do this – or a player does this to Embiid – we’re looking at an automatic ejection. Embiid absolutely received some superstar treatment. "

I feel like the league controls things...We can be as physical as we want to be but the refs can control the game if they want it to go to 7 games :nonono:

Everytime they pull me back in to watching games- this happens and its hard to take the nba seriously...They need to suspend Dirtbiid for that dirty play...

They have to figure out how to slow down Maxey, he's averaging 31/7/5 on 51% and 40% from three mostly being defended by OG. You're not going to stop Embiid, you have to figure out how to mitigate the damage Maxey is doing, they should seriously think about starting Deuce instead of Donte and use OG helping off of Harris. If we're going to lose a series because a bum like Harris is making shots so be it, we can't have two raging fires in Maxey and Embiid.

Raps fan chiming in.

One thing OG was great at was defender big men. He's super strong and he has a strong base. He was actually starting at center for us in 2020 when we played the Celtics.

I'd give him a go vs Embiid.

Yep I said last night we should start Deuce over Donte. Great minds think alike!

That's a terrible idea, we can't afford to lose OG to foul trouble, you put him on Embiid and he picks up some quick fouls and our defense collapses.

And Donte has been kept away from guarding Maxey for a reason, he cannot do it even at a respectable level.

Green Satan always with the worst ideas!! Not surprised he wants to see us lose since he’s a nets fan!!!!

BE BETTER!!!

It's not that he couldn't be effective but he's been so good at limiting Harris and playing free safety. That and we want to limit cheap shots at OG.

Start McBride on Maxey… iHart on Embiid… hard trap Maxey on every pick and force him to lob it out to nearest teammate then recover. Don’t switch Brunson onto Maxey solo ever. Switch OG onto Maxey or Embiid whenever his man is the screener.

In the 3rd quarter they keep switching picks with OG going to Lowry and Brunson onto Maxey then Maxey cooked Brunson…

I’d rather the shots funnel to Lowry, Tobias and Oubre than Maxey/Embiid… Maxey and Embiid are shooting incredibly well against our single coverage.

Time for Thibs to really earn his money. He'll have 3 days to figure this $hit out.

Unless you're a Philly writer, I haven't read not one sports writer say he shouldn't have been ejected. Damn near unanimous.
