the exact nature of the injury is that it can only be solved with surgery. his shoulder was always going to be unstable whether he waited 1 week, 10 weeks, 10 years.

he rehabbed it because he wanted to come back and give himself and the team a chance.

the rehab didnt work because the original injury REQUIRES surgery to fix.

you are all **** sad for thinking that "he made it worse"
"he waited 5 weeks"
"he came back too soon for contact"

Reality is we have had 3 or 4 players come back too soon just to get hurt again. It was obviously a bad decision to let him go full contact 5 weeks ago….thats less then a month after he hurt it.

This will all be ok when we win a title in the next few years. For now, it sucks.

it's very possible his shoulder was feeling pretty good and i think back then they said the mri was clean so that could be why he tried to go full contact. i don't think you can blame the doctors for that unless we get more information about that full contact session.

Good thing we have this guy to take the load off Brunson:

Was probably Randle's choice so he could avoid choking in the playoffs again.

I wonder if we could have dumped Randle on the Raptors if we added 2 1sts while holding RJ and IQ ?

No no no no :nonono: didn't see this news on my Twitter feed, only after I tuned in to the game

Let's get back to 3rd seed and bounce the Heat out of 1st rd... with OG of course!

I know we'd win the chip with this squad fully healthy

Maybe…but they also lied that Randle wasn’t cleared for full contact. It just sounds like they tried moving fast since it was 5 weeks ago.

There is a def pattern here. The OG thing is messed up. Mitch too…there’s been other games like when Grimes looked like he seriously hurt his knee and they sent him back out…then he had to miss a few games/weeks when he was reevaluated. Donte played hurt had to miss a few games…

This is just happening way too often

Knicks will lose in the first round or 2nd round. And lack scoring.

Everyone will say, they could have used Randle.

Randles trade value goes up

Trade him in the summer.

those are good points. who knows what the truth really is, but there is def a lot of uncertainty about our medical staff. it is what it is now. just have to hope next year will be better i guess.

Up 17 with 4.5 minutes is time to take out the starters. Assuming the Knicks didn't score again, Miami could have tied it if they averaged the equivalent of 45.3 points per quarter (or 181 points per game). Thibs should have taken out all of the starters and, if Miami narrowed the lead by 10 points (to 7) within two minutes (very unlikely), he could have put the starters back in. You have to put your bench in when there is SOMETHING at stake -- otherwise, they never improve and have no confidence.
