man our offense stinks ! Our pitching is doing insanely well which is weird because for the Yankees it's usually the other way around. Yankees always had great offense idk what's going on now. We're barely squeezing out wins and losing games with low scores

That's what's killing me. As much as we were worried about our bullpen....the pitching staff is holding the line as best as they can and this is without Cole. They're doing their jobs, but they're not getting the run support.

Gleyber is the baseball equivalent to RJ Barrett. Just goes through these pro longed spells where he looks lost but will occasionally tease us with his talent.

How much of a sensitive bitch do you have to be to eject Aaron Judge while he's walking away from you?

Schmidt didn't fully implode and thankfully the bullpen is lights out right now and even got some run support today.

Good to pick up a series win after dropping one to Baltimore. Pick up a sweep tomorrow and then the rather grounded Astros, middling Rays, and then the red hot Twins.

These umpires are begging for AI to take their jobs  no one pays $100 and up to watch some fat old gas bag get in his feelings, they pay to see Aaron Judge lay lumber to leather.

Getting tossed for walking away and saying "that's bullsh*t dude" is so lame. Judge has been the recipient of some God awful strike calls all season, the fact that he didn't go scorched earth on one of these clowns is commendable.

Either way, let's hope that the line up and keep up with the bullpen over the next several games, they're keeping the games within the reach. I feel like we should be blowing teams off the field if guys would start hitting to their historical averages.

Hell, at least RJ produced even on bad days. Torres has been an automatic out for most of the season

The Knicks traded RJ Barrett because he was a bad fit despite having a lot of potential and their team drastically improved afterwards. Cashman held on to Gleyber like he was his prized possession and the Yankees are dealing with the consequences of it. That is the difference between a good GM and a bad GM.

Called it after 8. Yankees with the sweep, off day tomorrow.

Cortes with the quality start. The well-oiled machine that is the bullpen kept going although Hamilton let two runs score even though they're credited to Cortes. Most importantly, run support to help pitching.

Berti could be a great leadoff hitter if his bat starts getting hot because he could be a monster on the bases. Could replace Volpe at leadoff soon enough with Volpe swinging a twig at this point.

Volpe, to his credit, got a big walk in the 7th to load the bases and used his speed to score all the way from first off Soto's double.

Not a true blowout if Stanton doesn't hit a meaningless homer.

Quality start from Gil. Cole is gonna rightfully take the ace spot in the rotation when he returns, but so far no one is making it easy to be moved to the bullpen when it happens.

I really hope Cashman doesn't trade Verdugo after Dominguez comes back in order to keep Stanton on the roster for the next 3 years.

Nope. Odd man out is Trent Grisham. Dominguez can back up Verdugo, Judge, and if you beg or sneak attack him, Soto. Stanton is a pure DH at this point so there's opportunities for Dominguez to play and compete for a starting job when he returns.

I think if Verdugo continues to hit like he has since Milwaukee, he's most likely here until at least the off-season. Hopefully, Dominguez comes in hot and forces competition to start in LF.
