By the time we get there we’ll have two active bodies left

Next year Thibs has to change the way he allocates minutes during the season, to pace us for a long haul

We can’t be the only team missing half its roster by the second round

That’s it. Play our players so they are fresh come playoffs. It gets the bench better prepared and allows the starts to avoid being victims of attrition come playoffs.

A few of us been saying essentially this for seasons and now in one series we have 3 guys get hurt. We are beyond other teams.
The numbers re getting too overwhelming.

It's come to the point that I can watch game 7 in peace. OK with the either outcome.

Deeeez Knicks wrote:The injuries have hit hard and the Hart injury is def concerning. Even if he plays have to wonder if he can be 100% effective. Either way, next man up and just need one more.

Homecourt has been a huge edge in this series so far. Ride the garden energy.

We are running out of men for Next Man Up. It is getting silly now.
We already have Burks getting minutes, which worked 2 games ago.
Next? Sims and one of the guys who never saw time this year.

I’m rooting for our team but the “mysterious” injuries are getting insane.

The point is to demonstrate that employing the careful, value-oriented approach to franchise-building has paid off and should not be jettisoned. Phoenix-style star fcuking doesn't even get out of the first round of the playoffs whereas employing a careful, quality-oriented approach can get you to the ECF while you still retain all of your assets going forward.

You're both right.

I'm a lot less enthusiastic about an ECF run than I was a week ago. It would be a nice token but running so thin, we risk more injuries. We showed what we needed to show.

Yeah, I’m worried about more injuries as well. If Hart and OG can play vs Boston, then we are good. If not, we are, asking for trouble as Thibs will coach to win, righfully so. But we will only have 6 rotation players left. Recipe for further disaster.

you have to win game 7. there's no way you make it this far and think there's no point in trying to make it to the ecf

Why was the adjustment from Josh on Siakam to Isiah on Siakam so hard to see? It took an entire half to make the change?

Why didn't Thibs tell Deuce to stop chasing TJ around the perimeter when all he wants to do is drive into the paint for a layup or mid range pull up

even with Boston we have 3 games at home to win... you just need 1 game out of 4 away from MSG to pull the trigger

Very easily Thibs could tell him to make the correction

Brunson needs to step up as a playmaker even more than a scorer in this game for us to go for the glory!

May Allah help them win!

Think we gave it our all but the strain of being shorthanded every game + Thibs minutes bonanzas are too much for humans to handle. This was our limit.

As said before the series, I expected 7 games but did not know OG was gonna get injured

It's clear as day, this guy is too valuable to lose, sign him asap but put him on a 35 mpg restriction and bring in a serviceable backup lengthy wing
