Coaches need to come up with something in game 6. Can’t just go in with same game plan.

I always love it when Jokic gets 10 seconds in the lane on offense.

They have to decide if they’re going to make Jokic only score or pass. You CAN’T GIVE HIM BOTH.

As a Timberwolves fan, this absolutely sucks but as a basketball fan, this is incredible. No one should question Joker again and be taken seriously. This is an all-time performance.

I still really like the idea of getting Towns the spacer look and just letting air out a ton of threes.

He can't make necessary adjustments, can't rally the troops and I don't like how he failed to integrate guys like Monte, Shake or Troy Brown more into the lineup when they had been successful with other clubs in prior seasons when they got more minutes and didn't rest guys like Conley more. I also am a bit peeved he helped sell the Gobert trade. Yeah, I hate that Finch got a knee injury, but I hope Wolves can find a better coach. I don't think he's ever going to win a title.

I wouldn't go that far but we've been out coached the last 3 games no doebt. Plus they have made the shots often with a hand in their face. We haven't made enough shots.

That's our only pitch, that fastball. We just don't have enough on offense to compete on an elite level. Our defense had carried us hard and it was great but elite offense can't be stopped. I knew the Nuggets were a well-oiled machine but I am even more impressed with how they have responded to adversity. This team has championship DNA all over it.

We just gave up 13 baskets in 14 possessions with the DPOY on the court, most of them going at him specifically.

Offense is not the only problem.
Our 2 big defense has been exploited really really badly the last 3 games.

We have also missed a ton of shots we needed to make. Missed free throws, turned the ball over. Etc. We got long periods of time without being able to score a basket, when Denver needs a basket they know where to go. We got beat up on all fronts but having an offense that is above middle of the pack would help.

Good post. Yes to all.

A little late now. They needed a game plan change tonight and they got stubborn and paid the price.

Nuggets are this era's Spurs

That's what people like you thought going into the Suns series though, so not sure how much credibility there is here....

You can't win scoring less than 100 pts per game. Given Gobert do suck at slowing down Joker. However he is the one that suck the least tonight.

Denver is just way way better than us, from the coaches down to the players.
They have a plan, they play smart, and they play together.
Their offense has countermoves to everything.
Their defense focuses on the couple guys they really have to worry about without cheating and just leaving guys wide open.

Their BBIQ at this point is about 20 points above league average and about 40 points above ours.

Congrats Nuggets fans what you have been watching the past couple of years is truly something special.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Disgusted by the amateurism of the team. How can you forget defensive fundamentals like a middle school team in 3 consecutive games? Rotating off the corner 3, doubling the best passer, missing rotations… Malone can also go **** himself. I hope one day our bigs can use their elbows, arms to get free or being able to act as the leaning tower setting screens. Reggie Miller and draymond green should be punched in the mouth

If you guys haven't realized it yet, our team was built for the 80's, but it's 2024. They aren't going to let us play as physical as we were in game 2. The Malone reaction and Murray money sign was a pretty good indicator. Remember, people thought professional wrestling was "real" for a long time too.
