The Pistons are built on defense and smart play. Based on that, the only Buck who's safe is Bogut.

That's great news a coach and GM that know each other....

Now fill out the front office with some more quality basketball people to form a competent staff that can outnumber the lawyers.

I think Bell, Mason, and Yi are pretty safe as well, Yi more so based on potential than anything. There's no real reason to get rid of Sessions either. He's cheap and doesn't have much trade value. Better off trying to develop him. Anyways, I wouldn't mind seeing anyone else go.

The prospect of renewing/upgrading my 21-pack went from "not a chance in hell" to "sounds delicious"!

I'm at work and was in a hurry. Hammond/Carlisle would be a tremendous improvement.

Well the Brewers have lost 2 in a row. Time to dump them and get back on the Bucks bandwagon. :P
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hammond is incredible. Nabbing Carlisle on top would be a major coup.

I expect Yi and Sessions to stay put. I think Dez's expiring deal makes him a very valuable trade asset that should be utilized. I have no problem keeping Bell but also wouldn't have any problems trading him. The length of his deal remains a concern in my opinion.

This is great, great news.

I was at lunch with a couple friends, I saw it go across the ticker and I kind of freaked out. They looked at me like I was crazy.

I'd love to see Rick Carlisle come in here. That would be amazing. No more turd coaches.

LK is officially a dead man walking. These last 4 games will be real tough for him.

I actually have excitement for the franchise.

GM in place for the draft
GM gets to hire coach
GM is a real GM

This is going to be great

Fair enough. I read most of his articles though and a Sund/King/Babcock hire would have fueled the fire even more against us. Should be interesting to see his reaction to this though.

So does Hammond have power to trade Yi if that's what he wishes to do? I'm not picking on Yi - just using him because my gut tells me he would be at the top of Kohl's list not to trade.

Wow, good news on the Bucks. I have forgotten what this feels like. A little excitment and some minor hope for next year.
